  4. Thanks all for the nice comments.
  5. Thanks, Peter. The white birds are Aspen and the reddish birds are Lacewood.
  6. My display at ArtCrafters was down to four, so I had to get busy and make more. I made twelve yesterday, Labor Day. They sure seem to sell at ArtCrafters.
  7. I agree with Stoney. Spirals have their place, but not word art.
  8. Welcome to the forum from TN. I have both the DeWalt 788 and Excalibur EX 21. The Ex21 is my go to saw, but I still use the DeWalt.

  15. Very nice cutting. Lines are clean and crisp.
  16. I bought a DeWalt 788 about 10 years ago and still have it and use it, especially for compound cutting. About three years ago I bought an Excalibur EX21. It is my go to saw for almost everything, especially angle cuts such as bowls.
  17. Welcome to the forum from TN. Yes, a Dremel will work for making starter holes, but you may at some point need a bench drill press.
  18. Very well done.
  19. Welcome to the forum from TN. I have a furniture maker behind our store. He always has scraps perfect for scrolling.

  21. Welcome to the forum from TN. This is a great hobby.
  22. Welcome to the forum from TN. The scroll saw is a great tool and a fun hobby.
  23. Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
  24. Thanks Gordie. Our framing Acrylite is about three times the cost of glass, but a lot lighter. I have left over pieces, so no cost. If I ship there is no worry about glass breaking.
