  1. Welcome to the forum, Warren. Lots of friendly folks here.
  2. Well done on both the pattern and cutting. I am sure it will be well received.
  3. Thanks for checking, Melanie. Hope you here back.
  4. Thanks Melanie. I would like to get some shop time in before we go on a short vacation.
  5. Looks great. Can't imagine falling asleep at the saw. You need more rest!
  6. The part do not show up yesterday. Maybe today.
  7. Thanks for the nice comments. Maybe do some more of the 12 patterns.
  8. Thanks Roly. Very easy to make and look good made from Pine.
  9. Hope to put it together on Saturday.
  10. Thanks all for the nice comments. Actually the tree is not that fragile.
  11. Thanks all for the nice comments. Marge, there are three patterns in the article.
  12. Very nice clean cuts. Simplicity is right on with this one.
  13. That is quite a collection, Delano. Keep up the good work.
  14. Well done on the cutting. Somebody must like fishing!
  15. Delano, CWWC is short for the bankrupt magazine, 'Creative Woodworks and Crafts'. I have copies going back to 2007. BLO is also short for Boiled Linseed Oil. I mix it 50% with Mineral Spirits. Don't be sorry about asking good questions.
  16. Paul, there is a connection between the top blade holder and the motor. The screw cracked. I am replacing the complete assembly per Ray's suggestion.
  17. Thanks for the nice comments. Funny, Paul. I did have a few words to myself until I called Ray at Seyco. He said no problem the part is shipped. Just went to the DeWalt and started scrolling.
  18. Thanks, Steve and Dick. In the magazine, there are three patterns. She called the article Trivet Trio. The part is the shipped by FedEx today. I should get it tomorrow. Then to put it together!
  19. Thanks Steve and Dick. Steve, the tree is my favorite also. Dick, I have not bought any patterns from Karen, but used many from CWWC. Too bad the magazine went bankrupt.
  20. I thought I would get a head start on Christmas ornaments, so I made these Ribbon Ornaments. The patterns are by Dirk Boelman and found in CWWC Holiday 2013. I used 3/4" Pine and FD UR #5 blades. These were cut on the old DeWalt 788 which still works fine. Just not as good as the EX 21. These are an easy cut, but seem to be an eye catcher. Comments welcome.
  21. As I was cutting this trivet, the EX 21 broke down and I had to finish it on the old DeWalt 788. It still works. The pattern is by Sue Mey and found in CWWC August 2013. I used 1/2" Hard Maple and FD UR #5 blades. It is approximately 7 1/2" in diameter. For the finish I used 50% BLO. Comments welcome.
  22. Those do not look like fast cutting! Well done.
  23. Well done on that piece. The fit, shaping and finish are right on. What is the size?
  24. Wow, amazing cuts on very delicate patterns. Well done.
  25. Thanks for posting. Our county fair was last week. I haven't entered in over three years. Too busy at ArtCrafters.
