  1. Congratulations. Always good to be given recognition for your hard work. Hope it leads to more for you.
  2. Looks like you still got it even after 8 years away. Enjoy your new saw. Look forward to seeing what else you do with it. Thanks for sharing.
  3. More great looking projects. Really need to see if I can find some of those cutting boards around here. Thanks for sharing. Hope your daughter does well with everything at the craft show.
  4. Another great looking project Denny. I finally took the time to check in with the folks at scrollsawer to make sure I would get the most recent copy of the magazine when I submitted for the free magazine. She assured me it would be. Since I had not yet found it on the store shelf - I went and placed more order for it. Can't wait to check out this new issue. I will refrain at the store should I finally find it before it arrives in my mailbox!
  5. Another great looking project with great cutting Denny. Thanks for sharing.
  6. More great work Denny, Love them all. Really like the look of the flame maple. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Hi Carl, a newbie here while you were away. Glad you are back and feeling better and able to get back to your saw. Glad to hear you kicked Cancer's butt on the lung cancer. Lost my dad to it too many years ago now. Glad to see someone who won the fight. Look forward to seeing you share again here.
  8. Sure I know Clarksville and Austin Peay. We spent 10 years in Nashville before returning "home" to East TN just over 19 years ago.
  9. Very nice work. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Well i need to know WHICH TJMaxx's you went to so I don't bother going to that one . Looks like you bought them out. More nice looking work. Are these ones you plan to sell or are they gifts?
  11. That is some beautiful detailed work on all 3 of them Montserrat! thanks for sharing your photos. I see you too are from TN - what part? I am in the Knoxville area. Know Denny is down near Athens area and several others are from more Middle TN.
  12. You are right - one cannot have too many tools - but as far as it being a guy thing - no, not really. My husband would be happy to confirm that.
  13. Very nicely done piece of art Rick. Your work with intarsia is inspiring to me (as are several others here on the forum.) like the framing you did as welll. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Most looks good. Do you plan to redo the rear leg? Only way I see to "fix" it at this point. As a newbie to Intarsia, I enjoy seeing your work and learning. Did you just over sand the area, or did it break or what happened? Besides the leg, rest is great.
  15. I agree, great idea Ike. Russell, this way, you get your wine and then a way to recycle the botlles.
  16. Beautiful, intricate cutting Paul. I like the round backer I think. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Beautiful design and cutting. I am sure the bride and groom will love it and treasure it. Thanks for sharing. I have a niece getting married next weekend, wish my newbie skills were better to vpcrewtecsomething like this. Maybe at some point but I know I am not up to those letters just yet! Thanks for sharing.
  18. Great looking ornaments Marg. I am sur the recipients all loved them. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Glad you tried it. Your grandson will cherish it that much more because you cut it. We have a professional sax player in DH family who would love one but definitely presently outsid of my entry level skills. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Such beautiful and intricate work Helmut. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Great job in designing the patterns by Russell, and by you in cutting them out. Someone will love getting them. Thanks for showing your completed project of them all together.

Rocky steady hands and eyesight! I just love seeing what you can do with a saw and a coin. However, please don't get yourself disowned by the family.
  23. Beautiful piece. Nicely done. The recipient is sure to treasure it. Thanks for sharing. Would love to get good enough on my saw to make something similar for my daughter next year for her senior year of college Volleyball.
  24. Beautiful work Marg. Thanks for sharing.
  25. I agree, great work. Really like it with the different woods. I like it without the backer personally I think.
