  1. Curious because it has Craftsman and Sears Roebuck on the motor and the description says Montgomery Wards. Weird.
  2. The cutting is great and I like the sentiments.
  3. Fantastic cutting! I have no idea what it's worth but it should be substantial.
  4. You've done a great job. I don't think you will have any trouble with letters. BTW who is the little cutie?
  5. Not gonna hijack you Ray. Just kidding!
  6. In that case I might as well make it easier for you. Just crate it and send it to Denver. It's closer.
  7. I do like it. I also ordered a draftsman's adjustable chair with casters which should make everything complete.
  8. Yep, got new rear wheels on my Hawk. It gives me a nice 8 degree tilt. I really like it.
  9. Holy Cow! That's cool.
  10. I just took another look at the saw. I noticed this guy is serious about his scroll saw. He built the pedestals for his feet and used c-clamps to attach it to the saw legs. Interesting.
  11. So glad it worked out for you. Too bad they don't cross train better. GO RED!
  12. Now I'm even more impressed!
  13. Looks really nice.
  14. I can understand why you are getting requests. Great looking patterns!
  15. Of course you scrolled today and did a great job too!
  16. Beautiful Turning and finishing!
  17. The variable speed foot control would be my first turn off.
  18. I guess their equipment is not that sophisticated. I have been taking black patterns in for a long time and getting them in copied in color. The copier they used is very large with a large touch screen. The operator presses a few commands and out comes color from black. I always make sure I get the same operators.
  19. I go to an Office Max/Depot and they do it all the time. However, I went there the other day to have it done and the two girls who usually do it for me were not at the counter. A young man waited on me to make the copies. He was working on the computer for several minuets and I asked him what he was doing. He said he was making the conversion in Photo Shop. I asked why not just do it on the copy machine. He said the machine is not capable of doing that. I told him the two girls do it all the time and he just said that he had no idea how to do it. Several days later I happened to stop at another Office Max/Depot to have the same thing done. The clerk said that it was not possible. Don't they cross train these people? Now I go to the original store and only let the two knowledgeable girls do it for me. I guess I am just lucky. When I was in business for 30 years I always tried to cross train my people. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.
  20. What a great diorama!
  21. That is a great array of items. They are really nice.
  22. That's cute!
  23. They look great! I particularly like the "Gone Fishing" but my late father who was a dentist would have loved the dental one.
  24. Happens to me every so often. Perhaps I should not disregard it but I do.
  25. Yes Ray, the vacuum hold downs are just cut out of a 2X4 with 1/2" dia by 1/8" thick rare earth magnets in each leg. I just drilled a 1/2" pocket and used epoxy to bold them. They are powerful. I have 2" casters front and back on the saw. I'm replacing the rear 2" ones with 6" ones.
