  3. Very nice pattern and great cutting. Makes me homesick for my rides.
  4. Great cutting and very interesting choice of re purposed material. Good job.
  5. I saw both of your Hawks. They were a steal. I did not go after them as I only have room for my 220. You got wonderful deals.Hawks come up on Denver craigslist often but asking prices are much higher. Again congratulations.
  6. I liked yours and it inspired me to try it.
  7. A few weeks ago someone posted a Camaro. A pattern by Steve Good. I had downloaded the same pattern so I gave it a shot. 3/4" Poplar cut with #7 and #9 pegas blades. Stained with Minwax Gunstock penetrating stain. The base is MDF and does not stain well so it is temporary. I will cut a new one this week. I will spray with clear lacquer or poly.
  8. That is one great looking clock. The numbers and the wood grain are beautiful.
  9. That is one great first time project. I love it!
  10. That Red Wing logo looks great!! Go Avalanche, he, he.
  11. Stunning little birds. They should sell like wildfire.
  12. Hi Brad, what are tea lights and where to get them?
  13. Hi LindaB, crooked cuts and mangled fretwork is good. Even designer sawdust is good. We're just glad you found and joined us!
  14. Check to see that your blade is perpendicular to the table. I had that problem with my first puzzle.
  15. Hi Linda, I see you are a newbie here. Welcome to the Village. I don't see much in your profile. Perhaps you could mention a little about yourself. Many would like to get to know you and also welcome you. If possible you might post something you have done. Seems you might experienced in different things some would like to see. Again, welcome!
  16. Congratulations on the new (used) saw. A good saw makes scrolling so much more pleasant.
  17. Nice pattern and nice cutting.
  18. I like it. The addition gives it a more interesting appeal.
  19. WOW! That is clever and cute too.
  20. Funny!
  21. I have only broken a blade once on my Hawk but when I did I thought I would jump out of my skin. On occasion I will start the saw forgetting to flit the tension lever. That makes a bit of a racket and kinda startles me. I can only scroll for about two hours before my eyes tire. I scroll a couple of hours in the morning and again in the afternoon or evening. Sharp corners work with plywood by using appropriately small blades and preferably a few reverse teeth at the lower end of the blade. Don't give up. You'll get it with a little practice.
  22. Beautiful boxes. Did you you use BB? If so, how thick? If you line the boxes what will you use? Whose pattern is it? If I have more questions I guess they will just have to wait. Great cutting!
  23. What fabulous boxes you make! You are so talented.
  24. I love Poplar. It cuts nicely, reasonably priced and readily available from box stores.
  25. Those look great! Well done.
