  1. I use 50/50 BLO and mineral spirits. I also use some other things for finishing. My problem is, when I put those things in a jar to save them I have a problem removing the lids when I use them again. So the question is how do others store these things? I am thinking of finding something like a plastic container with a plastic lid that won't stick when trying to open it. So, give me some advice.
  2. All the projects are great. You have an excellent and talented wife.
  3. Wonderful pattern and terrific cutting.
  4. You did well. I spent all my summers working on my Uncle's farm and turning wet winrows during harvest season.
  5. Beautiful pattern and cutting. I remember those Chevrolet pickups very well.
  6. Hi Chris, Great idea for a rack. Looks perfect.

  10. I don't play chess either but thing chess pieces are really cool. Can you show the kings and queens?
  11. That cutting looks nice. If something is missing I could not see it.
  12. Ah, yes you did. I just had never seen one. That's a great idea. Someone, perhaps on this site, "People come up with my good ideas before I do."
  13. Alas, my grandchildren are grown and no great grandchildren. You are blessed and cut a great project.
  14. Hey, where did you get that picture of me? I resemble that. Had to give up the ride last June.
  15. Those are terrific!
  16. Great cutting on a difficult pattern. I cannot imagine cutting it without cutting through the little honeycombs.
  17. Ebay shows many and they are CHEEEEP too.
  18. I tend to stay out of Woodcraft. It's a 40 minute drive and it thins out my wallet. I'm glad you are so brave.
  19. Rolf, what is the coupling with the screw in it? I don't recall seeing an animal like that.
  20. Ray, if you can invent them I'll buy them. BTW, do some brass ones while you are at it. My clocks have mostly brass parts. If you could also put them on a little stick so I don't have to bend over. That would be nice.
  21. Great cutting on a beautiful pattern. I like your Jag too.

You should like it because it looks great.
  23. I'd like to have a couple for my table saw. Unfortunately my saw is a collapsible Kobalt saw from Lowes and has a cast aluminum table. They would work on my Band Saw. I will buy some if my ship comes in before my pier collapses!
  24. Good sleep is important. Glad you are getting some.
  25. Yep, golden years are only for the tough.
