  1. Here is the same air cleaner as the Shop Fox your looking at for $188.94 shipped and more than likely no sales tax. http://www.grizzly.com/products/Hanging-Air-Filter-3-Speed/G0738?utm_campaign=zPage&utm_source=grizzly.com Here is another one even cheaper that would work good in your small shop. http://www.grizzly.com/products/Benchtop-Dual-Fan-Dust-Filter/G9955?utm_campaign=zPage&utm_source=grizzly.com
  2. I like one. I can afford the toner.
  3. I like'm Jerry.
  4. Thanks Ron and right back at you.
  5. Great job Ed. I remember that car well.
  6. Iggy sent me this pattern that he modified several days ago and I just now finished it up. He did a great job on it and I just hope I didn't shame him to much. Thanks Iggy!
  7. Blake you are well on your way.
  8. I agree Happy New Year to everyone.
  9. If I had to take a guess I would say yours are better and easier to use.
  10. It seems I can't win at cleaning my shop. I have learned not to get any more work benches. Every time I get a new bench or any flat surface it gets junk on it.
  11. Dan I try a lot of things and when I find something I like I go with it.
  12. Dan here is a couple pictures. One is me holding it up by the stretch wrap. I bought this to wrap lumber and it's 5" wide and works fine but it would be easier if it was wider. Maybe I would buy the wider roll HF has if I was doing this every day week after week.
  13. Larry they look great. You make them look like you know what you are doing.
  14. A great piece of work Dan. I would like to know how you did the stippling on the golf ball. Maybe a CNC machine?
  15. I saw this at Harbor Freight and need some so in the basket it went. I use it when I buy lumber to wrap around the load so it won't slide out of my truck on the way home. [ 10 miles] Later I thought this would be good to wrap our wood puzzles in so I tried it and it works good. I bought the $8 dollar one. I wrapped the puzzle up then very lightly went over it with the heat gun and " WaLa ". http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=strech+wrap
  16. This weather station has the rubber rings they are talking about. I think sometimes you have to buy them separate. I may be wrong about that it's been a while since I have bought any.
  17. I agree Iggy, everything is falling into place. I wonder how long it will be before it's complete?
  18. I bet Money!!! I imagine Portland is a high dollar city to live in.
  19. I have read that some of you guys use food coloring to give color to your puzzles. I think this is mainly for kids. Can you explain how you use it? I know some color theirs very lightly and others have a bright and solid color.
  20. A feller just can't win can he?
  21. Interesting post. Thanks RJ
  22. Jim I am so sorry for your misfortune. It's really bad to have this happen right here at the end of the year. I have three of them coming that I bought through Amazon. They won't be here until Tuesday. Free shipping and they sent it Surepost. Surepost is where UPS or Fedex picks it up and sends it around the world three times then gives it to the post office. I very seldom order from Amazon and this is only one of the reasons. PS - Give me a preview. What do you think of them?
  23. John I was comparing wood for making stand up puzzles. I think using the good plywood would make some nice looking puzzles and they would be strong. I haven't bought any ply yet nor have cut any puzzles out of ply so my ideas might be all wrong.
  24. The good plywood can look pretty good. Even the edges.
  25. John even top grade ply doesn't cost as much as 13/16" walnut. I paid $5.35 a board foot this week for some.
