  1. I think he was!
  2. I thought the second bucket could be used as a "liner" for the first bucket. You would probably need to trim the top so the number 2 bucket would sit in the number 1 bucket. "There once was a guy with a bucket................."
  3. Holy Smokes!
  4. What a timely topic! I just put together a dust deputy on a Lowes bucket and sure enough, the first time I stopped suction on the hose (you know, not clogged but like sucked up a piece of cloth or work and covered the vacuum hose opening) the bucket collapsed . I was wondering about the "two bucket sytem" too.
  5. I bought a roll of this stuff about 2 years ago and still have not used it all. Iggy, you're a Machine!!!
  6. Thanks Mates!
  7. Sue May customized pattern NWC058. I believe this is luan and had a glued on 1/8 backer for strength. No finish and I used one Pegas #3 and one Pegas #5. Also this is the first piece I’ve displayed here .
  8. How is the noise level at the nozzles? I don't have a Fein but my vacuum is quite but I get a lot of noise at the nozzle. While ear buds take care of the issue, I am curious about everyone else's set up. Thanks.
  9. These have all been great ideas, suggestions and comments. I appreciate everyone taking the time to answer. This is a great place to be a member!
  10. I have been notified that I have until November 30, 2019 to "spend" about $250 worth of credit card points and can't really come up with a good tool to buy. I can get Amazon cards or Lowes cards. I have very limited space in my 1/2 garage shop (and I do park my car in the winter) so everything has to be portable enough to put up on a shelf somewhere. I have no band saw, no jointer and no planer. I also do not have an Apple Watch which is also on the list. Does anyone want to comment on why I should have a bandsaw or jointer or planer (or Apple Watch)? To date, I have never really needed any of these but I have this $250 burning a hole in my pocket! As always, thanks in advance! Steve
  11. Went to Human Resources to finalize my retirement here at work. Went to Social Security last month. As of Friday June 21, I will be retired and living the high life!
  12. I do not feel so alone now!
  13. Thank you one and all. I believe I have it now!
  14. Rockytime's thread about his wheeled compressor prompted the old memory cells here with a question that I've been meaning to ask for a while. "The Set Up" I have a small compressor that I use for my brad gun, filling tires and other low volume work. It's really quiet. However, I just leave it in the box until I need it, drag it down from the shelf, plug it in, use it, let the air out, put it back in the box and then back up on the shelf. "The Question" Can I just plug this thing in and let it stay full 24/7/365? Or at least let stay pumped up but maybe not plugged in? Or does it need to be deflated on a regular basis? As always, thank you in advance for comments and guidance.
  15. Mind boggling for sure!
  16. Ditton on the 30 minutes here too.
  17. Steve Good showed a way to protect your table with magnetic sign material. Have you given any thought about going that route?
  18. Gonzo, check your PM.
  19. I was going to offer it here at a bit of a discount first and then go to Craigslist and Facebook Market Place.
  20. I'm stuck in a Time Warp. UPS says MARCH 21, 2019 now. It has been picked up and is in transit.
  21. Just got an email from UPS and they are saying February 20 (Wednesday) for delivery!! I may have a Hawk for sale next week.
  22. According to UPS, my is still sitting at Bear Wood.
  23. We just saw something very similar with out neighborhood message board but it was for a 2007 Honda Accord with like 93,000 miles on it. The stories are remarkably similar. Lots of this crap out there and like crupiea said, there are far too many people who are still falling for these stories.
  24. Got It. Thanks again!
  25. My youngest grandson is a big Harry Potter fan. I would be interested in the pattern. I'll private mail you an email address and thank you very much.
