  1. Sorry for your loss. Folly beach is a great place my niece use to live there. The Sand Dollar and The Lost Dog were great places to go for food and beverage.
  2. I buy lumber at the same place as Kevin. I got that kind of prices when I bought 1000bdft of quartersawn red oak and 350 bdft of poplar. I don't get the big discount anymore haven't spent a lot lately.
  3. Check steve Carmichael YouTube video I built it works great. The one I made was for the scrollsaw I gave my son when I got a new saw.
  4. Great looking saw! It's nice to get new toys to play with. Your shop looks like it's really taking shape.
  5. That is the one you posted I have had it 3yrs. I added the plywood piece between the saw and cabinet so it was more stable. I didn't like just the sheet metal top of the cabinet.
  6. I bought a 5hp Delta Unisaw 10 yrs awesome saw. Probably overkill for what you want.
  7. I have the porter cable bandsaw and it works great for me. The motor rates at 1.5hp and built similar to grizzly or older Delta. Put a 1/2" resaw blade on it and go to town. I had the harbor freight 14" not a great saw unles they changed from what I bought 30yrs ago.
  8. Great idea! I will have to have the teacher that replaced me print some out on the 3D printer I talk the superintendent into buying me. He made the mistake of telling me to get the one I wanted cost $34000 for everything.
  9. Great buys did husband find anything? Johnson's workbench is my candy store 2 or three times a year. Great place to buy lumber a shop supplies. The best time is during the Wood Expo the weekend after Labor Day.
  10. I put them on my Delta 40-694 and they are a great improvement over the standard blade clamps used on the Dewalt or Delta scrollsaws.
  11. Are you sure that would be legal in California with all their regulations.
  12. I keep telling my wife and daughter to throw my ashes into the drainage ditch from the sewer plant. We call it dirty ditch which eventually flows into Lake Erie.
  13. I have seen them screwed from the bottom interior size is 1 cubic inch per pound. I don't intend for my ashes to stay in the box long. I told my daughter to cast the ashes somewhere appropriate.
  14. I am getting ready to make mine but I hate the thought of it. My wife said she wanted the box I made with a rose in it for hers.
  15. Ingenuity of woodworkers is always amazing. Great idea!
  16. How's Bernie on the scrollsaw?
  17. Whoa a brand new machine for parts. I hope it last longer than 5 months.
  18. Great heat source. I couldn't afford my homeowners insurance if I had one in my shop.
  19. Nice shop! I like the dust collection idea on the Ridgid sander. I will have to add that to mine. I love my 16/32 supermax sander. I bet you do too.
  20. Awesome job!
  21. Let me know when the walnut is ready for pickup. I will make the 80 mile drive north to pick it up (lol).
  22. I am glad I don't need to mail order. It's nice to be able to pick watch you need. My friend wanted to buy some wood and I noticed the wood went up almost a dollar a board foot since I purchased some in December. It's only a 20 minute drive but I am going to check my other sources to see if it's universal price increase for my local places. My woodworking club shop supermarket.
  23. You went from a hole in the water to throw money into to a shop to throw money into. I like the shop best.
  24. Nice blade organizer! I use Steve Good's design.
