  1. A second saw is an excellent idea if you are depending on it. If I have trouble with my saw, it always happens at the worst time. I don't have a lower bellows in my EX-21. I've had the whole thing apart, and there isn't one in there. Do I need one?
  2. Using the loc-line tool is much easier.
  3. I use two kinds of sanding mops a lot, but I would not consider either a detail sander. I have two rotary tools, a Craftsman (very old) and a Dremel. I can do detailed work with these, but I find them clunky and lacking in power. My go to is my old Grizzly G9928 - Flex Shaft Grinder. It can use anything that will work in a Dremel and has plenty of power and a foot pedal speed control. If it ever dies, I'll probably spring for a Foredom tool.
  4. Steve Good has several, but as I recall, they are all contained in the ornament patterns. They only hold one ornament.
  5. I do the work every day. Everything was steadily increasing. Profits and revenue were stadly increasing. A little over two years ago that changed and it has been in steady decline since then. I have had two months so far this year where I lost money.
  6. Fortunately for me, I don't have to do this. If I had to do it for a living, I would starve.
  7. Yep, the most valuable thing you have is time, and you don't know how much you have.
  8. Since I began to have made-to-order items, I have been concerned that I would get more orders than I could easily fill. It might be a good problem to have. Congratulations.
  9. The body is 4x3-1/2x3/4 inch.
  10. I like the one on the right. I need to try that.
  11. Hard to beat Pegas blades for durability. I noticed that the first time I used them.
  12. Do you have some photos of your birdhouse ornaments you could post?
  13. All I can say for sure was that the Flying Dutchman blades were #5 skip tooth with reverse teeth. The only reason I know they are Flying Dutchman blades is because FD blades are the only ones I have in test tubes.
  14. I'm highly unlikely to see it on Facebook. Facebook shows me what it wants us to see in my feed.
  15. I have a hard time giving up on a project that is not working like I want and starting over. I'm getting better.
  16. I have never had a blade stretch. Recently, I did a test comparing Flying Dutchman blades to Pegas blades. Flying Dutchman blades cut a lot smoother and were less aggressive. In harder woods, the Flying Dutchman blades produced a glossy, smooth cut.
  17. Same here. The ones that get the most views don't sell at all.
  18. The emails worked for me.
  19. My only Thanksgiving project.
  20. Why not? You would always win.
  21. Where is this group?
  22. I have never bought a used clamp. I have rarely paid the full retail price for a clamp. I watched for deals and got them cheap for as much as 75% off retail. I got serious about buying clamps about 30 years ago when the Stanly clamps I had started breaking.
  23. Never enough clamps, but I'm getting close. I sold some a few months ago. I would definitely let Wen know about the broken base. That is an incredibly poor location for the mounting holes. I expected to see ears on the base or at least in the four corners.
  24. I'm not sure how small they will go but I use a #60 my Wen chuck with room to spare.
  25. I have two of these chucks. They are great.
