  1. One of my favorite steve good patterns. I’ve made several of these, people love them!
  2. No sir! All wood!
  3. Thanks to everyone. I originally posted this as a video so you could see all the sections but only a picture showed. Trying again, here’s the video 68409120-4517-4417-A8AE-9A8F1F41E7FC.MOV
  4. I recommend this pattern
  5. Trying to get a few things done so Christmas won’t be such a rush. All are Sue Mey patterns 84614EAD-A6B2-40A6-BD1F-0B8A3C3F9016.MOV 8BECA112-9B6D-4B7E-A100-FA480D038968.MOV
  6. I have had no luck with pegas. They break very easy. I’ve tried them several times at Charles Dearings request. They cut great when they cut. Very sharp. I can get more done, however, using Flying Dutchman or Olsen. Now, I gave up on pegas and use Flying Dutchman odd numbers and Olsen even numbers spirals. Really don’t need even numbers but that’s just how I scroll
  7. This was my first attempt on using different stains on the same project. I didn’t tape off the different areas so stain ran, especially on the horse. So to try and help the project, I used water colors to try and cover up some of the issues. Then added more on the reflection to draw attention. Probably won’t try this again!
  8. I was going to blacken the cross hairs but chickened out! May still do it, but the areas that doesn’t show the cross hairs, scared I’ll mess it up. Pretty cool pattern!
  9. Only took a few minutes to cut! Yea right! One of Charles newer patterns, or at least re-released. I think he actually posted it some years ago and took it off his site, but it’s back up now!
  10. I found this on the internet a long time ago. Never could fine who’s pattern it was. I really like it.
  11. I think it’s spring natured. Maybe, maybe not! Oh well. Squirrel picnic table, not scroll related, but it is spring like. Seems everyone is making them.
  12. A few days ago, I posted a pic similar to what I’m posting, looking for the pattern. Mr. McFarland created this below and sent it to me! I think he did a great job. This will be for my department at the VA in Birmingham Al.
  13. Got to redo the roof, put the trim pieces on it, I may use LED lights instead of a bulb, but still, it’s pretty cool!
  14. Had a friend ask me to make them a light. The led lights really make it cool. 7DC7085B-EE3E-4454-9042-B7D811212F4C.MOV
  15. Another Steve Good pattern, iPad stands
  16. As I am a healthcare worker, time away from the hospital is very valuable. This is the only thing I’ve cut, one of Steve’s latest patterns. I got a friend with the last name of Swann so I’ll send this to them.
  17. I know others have done this one, so I thought I’d show mine!
  18. After thinking about this topic today, I had to add a few other things. 1. The line on the pattern is only A suggestion! My scrolling today made me remember this! 2. No one else needs to know if you made a mistake, especially if you sand it off. 3 . A dremel can be a good friend to you in your shop for lots of reasons. 4. If you scroll what your wife likes/wants, you’ll get to scroll longer! 5. Good wood is hard to get. That’s what she said, I know I beat some of you from saying that!
  19. I started on a cheap saw my wife bought. To her defense, it’s what I picked out. I wanted to go cheap to see if the hobby would stick. After a few years, I bought a dewalt 788 and that changed the game all together. Being able to feed the blade from the top, made things easier and much faster. Really started enjoying it more. The saw didn’t vibrate as much. I agree with everyone that you should start with small projects and learn your saw before trying something more advanced.
  20. This is the second of his I’ve bought. I did one of his shelves, in my album, and a couple of his freebies! There’s another shelf of his I’m looking at but don’t have nowhere to put it.
  21. I don’t know, usually I see what some one else does and want to try it. Waiting you see yours, but no pressure!
  22. Ok, here it is in red mahogany! I like this color better
