  1. This is what I used.
  2. Sue Mey recently advertised several patterns like this one. I like it. The base, being cedar, just seems to add to it. The top part is, I think birch, I put linseed oil on front and back, but back really didn't change much in color. Used 0 size spiral! Guess I could have darken the room more to show the lights better. Oh well.
  3. You believe we didn't even come in the top three in that contest!
  4. Yes sir! Only way I know!
  5. Forest village arch!
  6. After I made the last Christmas stuff I posted a week or so ago, Sue Mey actually sent me a message and asked me to cut this and take pictures for her to put in her website. After the swelling in my head decreased, this is what I made. I am very humbled for her even ask me. The pattern is much better than my cutting for sure. The arches are made from Baltic birch and I put linseed oil on them. The base is a very old piece of plywood that's older than I am, with just some polyurethane on it.
  7. I think it's awesome! Good job!
  8. Wood was just scraps, no clue to what is was exactly. Guess the arches were birch. Spray painted the middle one. Put a natural stain on the rest.
  9. That's would be eBay,sir!
  10. Getting ready for a fund raiser at my kids school! Maybe these will bring some money!
  11. When all the grandkids would get together back in the day, this is where we would hang out. This is a Charles Dearing pattern but looks so much like the barn at my grandparents farm. It was the most fun right after the hay was cut.
  12. Sue had a sell, buy 2 get 1 cross pattern free. Why not. Been raining here all day! Toying with the idea of making a light out of the rose pattern one. We'll see!
  13. I absolutely love that turkey!
  14. Anywhere from Sheila Landry to Steve good to Charles Dearing! All birch wood.

I actually cut this a few years ago and never finished it because I didn't like it. Wrong size wood, chipped a lot, wood was soft, just a learning experience. Since I've been in the dog house all weekend, I saw it sitting there and decided to finish it. I think more of it now. I don't remember who's pattern it is or even the wood, I can tell you it's stain vintage blue, because I had a bunch of that and really want to get rid of it.
  16. I use Baltic birch and spray painted it in white heirloom satin. It's done. I'm over it completely!
  17. If you are up for a challenge I recommend this shelf. It took me forever to complete. If you have already done this one, I'd love to see it.
  18. Yes, spirals! 2/0 and 0. I haven't mastered straight blades, at all.
  19. By easy I mean it's not one that'll take a few days to cut, but you'll need to because with some cuts, pieces easy to break off.
  20. Always enjoy Sues patterns!

  22. Having a door decoration contest at the hospital I work out. These our my contribution! Santa definitely not finished. Kenny Hopkins made Santa pattern, Steve good did the rifle, don’t remember who did the rest!
  23. This is today’s project. Which backer should I use, brown or black! In this particular choice, your vote will count. No dominion software is being used! Only vote if your alive! Votes casted tomorrow will not count, even if it’s mailed in!
  24. Jerry Jeff Walker was awesome musician! Being a recovering Red Neck myself, I still listen to his music. Up against the wall red neck mother! RIP JJW
