  1. I may have posted these before but I made these and have given them away to friends that decorate for the holidays. Baltic birch and cedar wood. Everyone that got them are happy! Sue Mey patterns
  2. This one posted twice for some reason. I tried to delete it but couldn't find it. Could delete the attachments.
  3. Correct sir. Correct sir!
  4. This is another one of Sue Meys patterns. The top part is birch with linseed oil on it. I put some spacers in between the front and back and threaded a string of lights thru it. The back is a piece of plywood that I got from my old high school a few months ago. It was a shelf in the library. . School closed many years ago.

  6. This Sue Mey pattern caught my eye. Made out of birch and cedar scraps. Linseed oil on most but the colorful one has oak stain on the front part. I think I light the white light one best.
  7. It was a live auction. It was a great turn out. Thank you for the prayers for my sister. She has a big fight a head of her.
  8. With the help of a friend, because I can't paint, I offer you this mike Williams goobler and hen pattern. It's almost turkey season where I live so these are quite popular. This is going for an auction to raise money for my sister that has colon cancer. Birch wood, spiral 0 blades.
  9. Alex, be safe sir!
  10. One of Steve goods newest patterns, my wife and daughter will get these with a little necklace inside. Scrap wood used with #2 spiral blade used. Darker one is red Mahoney with hearts and letters in lind seed oil. Other one is red chestnut!
  11. Interesting perspective, and honestly, I never thought about, but you are correct. I really don't sell this stuff and mostly it's given to friends and family, so making it any better never crossed my mine. I may try to miter it and see what happens on the next one. Appreciate the feedback.
  12. It's a rainy day here in Alabama, so cut up some more scraps. Not sure I'm liking the red bulb. That one was supposed to be a candle holder, but I didn't have one, so I put a light in it instead. I used Olsen #0 spiral. Birch scraps! Smaller one is stained in cherry and the other is red chestnut.
  13. I've already posted these, but they all were sent to various people as presents. I made two of each so every one who received them didn't complain so all is well!
  14. Using up more scraps, birch I'm guessing, I thought this pattern from Steve was interesting to try. Ofcourse I added a light. Thought it would add to it. I used fd spiral #1.
  15. Alabama says hi!
  16. Made out of birch, red chestnut stain and linseed oil.
  17. As best as I can remember, I bought these lights at Walmart last year when they had them on sale for like 5 bucks. They are 12 ft I'm not sure how many lights are in the strand. They use 3 AA batteries. What I do normally, since they are cheap lights, I just sort a twist them in place and don't secure them because I figure whomever may want a different color or if they do break, they can change them out. I have never had any luck using hot glue. I hear it does good but I can't ever seem to make it hold.
  18. No not normally, but this time, I did ask what she thought on lights, colors, etc. I had lights already and she picked what I had!
  19. With lights!
  20. Wonder if I should put a light in it?
  21. Idk, I tried and tried when I first started then just started using spirals and it got easier!
  22. I can't use straight blades at all.
  23. I had a lot of small and average size pieces of wood laying around so I applied it to make this Steve good pattern. The paint is just old spray paint. Used a #3 spiral FD!
  24. I may have posted this before, but I finished these, my spin on Steve's pattern. Made of birch and pine. One on right has a poplar base and the other has a piece of an old plum limb as its base. These have LED lights in them that I got from Walmart!
  25. 10 of the 20s. Walmart has them too during this time of the year!
