    Thanks! Saw this quote from Denzell Washington that says pretty much what you just said. "If I am a cup maker, I'm interested in making the best cup I possibly can. My effort goes into that cup, not what people think about it." I think I'm much happier with the hobby since I don't sell things and get to make what makes me happy. Happy Spring!

    Had the grandkids over last night and did a fun craft with them. My 17 year old daughter is a good sport and usually plays along. I cut them out of the cheap treated pine dog eared fence boards.

    Thank you. I counted yesterday and there's 39 portraits on my walls now. Ready to switch to something else for a while I think. Great to have a hobby with so much possible diversity isn't it?

    I posted him on FB and someone guessed that first thing also. Not him though. A bit younger and no freckles. I'll add a picture with the smile to see if that helps.

    A favorite actor of mine, Denzel Washington. Seems to be a good and wise man off the screen as well. If this actor is in it, I'll watch a movie with bad reviews just to see him act. Any guesses? I'll add his smile to see if that helps.

    Great collaboration between you and your daughter! It's a really great and very recognizable portrait and the fact that you and your daughter had a hand in it will make it more special to her friend. I love the bamboo too. Haven't seen it in sheets around here. Great job!
