  1. I also agree with Kevin. I have the Excalibur and Seyco. The blade chucks spread apart on both of them from me over tightening the blade. Replaced the blade chucks on both saws with Pegas blade clamps a few years ago and no more problems. Good luck.
  2. Ray, Harbor freight has 1000, 1500, 2000 and higher if you need it
  3. Very nicely done. If this is your fist, just think what the future ones will look like
  4. Lately Amazon has had the Dewalt for under $ 400.00 on and off. If you are not in a big hurry they will probably drop in that price range again. Usually only last two or three days on sale. I believe thats a pretty good price for that saw. Hope you find one soon and get started scrolling. Steve Good usually post the price drop on this saw.
  5. Very nice piece Dick.
  6. Very nice job.
  7. Thank You for the Birthday Wish
  8. Boy you did a great job on that piece. Be proud.
  9. Very nice work on the displays.
  10. very cute.
  11. Very nice work on both pieces.
  12. You are most welcome. You will get it all figured out soon.
  13. Yeah Bend has grown a lot. I live in Umatilla right by the Columbia river. I am sure you crossed the bridge when you went to Bend. I run my saws flat but I think there is an advantage to having them tilted I just haven't tried it. Been doing this for about 26 years guess I got set in my ways. You do have to work on your seat height to be comfortable. You would laugh if you saw my seat. I built it out of two by fours and plywood 26 years ago and still using it. I have cut it down a few times to make it the right height. I put a swivel and a boat seat on it with a back. Pretty comfortable. If you extend the back legs on your stand and raise the front ones will that tilt your saw enough? I am sure someone will chime in here with some excellent Ideas on how to do it. It takes time and trial and error to get it like you want. Good luck Take care
  14. Welcome to the Village Marie. You made an excellent choice in the EX. I have one I bought new in 2010 and also a Seyco that I purchased new in 2018 I believe, both excellent machines. At that time Scrappile had a Seyco and I went visit him and try his out before I bought mine. He does beautiful work, I have had the pleasure of getting to see a lot of his pieces. I live in Eastern Oregon. I got to meet Heppnerguy as well when he was here visting Paul ( Scrappile ). Enjoy your Ex and happy scrolling. If you have questions they will get answered on here.
  15. Have to wear mine to hear the Tv Ray. Sometimes I come in from the shop and forget to put them in and wonder why I can't hear my wife or the Tv. I do have wireless TV ears but the hearing aids work great so I have not used them for a while. Guess it's part of the golden years I keep hearing about.
  16. You have not seen me with glasses Paul but I am supposed to wear them. Actually I have the magnifying Lense right there on the saw. I just didn't look close enough, hence I should wear glasses. I have gotten hearing aids since I last saw you. Can't hardly hear a thing without them. take them off when I go to the shop though. Going to the specialist means more money. got mine at Costco, pretty happy with them.
  17. Denny has great service and great prices. I just ordered a new tension lever and some extra springs for my Pegas blade holders. Should be here soon. Denny is also very good at emailing back if you have questions, even dumb ones like I did. Next time I will wear my glasses and check things out a bit more. Enough said.
  18. Very nice Denny. I have cut several of those and enjoy cutting them.
  19. well done Dick.
  20. very well done Denny. Those are fun to cut.
  21. Amazon had the Dewalt on sale yesterday I believe for $ 379.00. Last week it was over $ 500.00. Pretty good deal if you are shopping for a Dewalt. that was what Steve Good posted.
