Even with a magnifying lamp....my eyes hurt. Probably an hour, hour and a half total cutting time.

A Christmas gift for a friend. Silhouette was found on Google Images. Cut in 3/8 ply, Pegas #1mg blade, saw set on a sloooooow speed, and a sphincter-pucker of about 11 on a 1-10 scale. Some of those lines, the wood remaining is thinner than the kerf of the blade! I plan on doing a dark stain, then finding some pre-printed paper with an American flag and seeing how that works for a background, then framing the whole thing. Next up I have a superman pattern I'm cutting for friend's husband.

Not gonna say my eyes hurt after a while, but having a magnifying lamp helps keep the eyes focused on a small portion of the pattern. Adult beverages help with the headache afterwards.

I have a mask (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07988FX9D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that I wear while sanding or using the jigsaw/skill saw, as they kick up tons of dust. Otherwise, I have a large floor fan from Lowes with some pretty hefty cfm airflow, and a desk fan sitting on top of a Kreg jig box that blows across my project to keep most of the dust down. I still have to clean sawdust off my glasses and magnifying lamp occasionally, but no more than walking around central Texass on a breezy day and all the dust/pollen in the general air. I do wear the mask while mowing the yard, though, we have three Great Danes and there are, inevitably, "landmines" that get missed in the back yard that turn into little poopclouds when the mower finds them. I don't mind sawdust, but even I have a line that I won't cross. LOL NOBODY wants to breathe in poopclouds.

Another Sam Custodio pattern (look him up on FB, he's got a lot of patterns). 1" whiteboard from Lowes, Pegas #3mg blade. Make sure you get the updated version of this one, the original had two islands, which are simple to fix once you know they're there (the middle/base of the "cones" at the top and bottom). Overall, a fun cut with lots of easy curves.

Nicely cut, and I LOVE the base for it! Might I suggest hitting the notch in the base with a rounded file, maybe contour it more to fit the base of the heart? Just a suggestion, I still love the idea! ...and may have to steal it shamelessly and give it a try myself.

I knew the RAF used em, too, but couldn't remember what they called it. They were also used as tugboats for glider troops (Brit, Canadian, and US, I believe?). Hard to imagine a plane powerful enough to haul a load of troops with balls of solid brass through the skies, but the DC3 did it.

Awesome!!! Slap some olive-drab paint (with Normandy invasion stripes on the wings!) on one of those and shove paratroopers out the door, and its an Army Air Corps C-47.

A couple of trivet Christmas gifts (still have one more on the saw) I cut this weekend. The owl was found in the Pattern Library, Superman and Wonderwoman patterns came from Google Images. 1x8 whiteboard from Lowes, used Pegas #3MG. I'll probably stain em a dark color (Minwax Provincial or Espresso, as I'm now out of Dark Walnut).

Be thankful you have the ability to learn languages! I've tried, several different languages (Spanish and German), but I'm definitely not wired for speaking more than one language.

Yeppers!!! "Quote" adds the person's post to yours, just so there's no mistaking what you're replying to. You can also go in and edit out what is "quoted" (I removed the photos from yours) to help focus on, for instance, one particular section/comment/thought in a long post. "Report" is to bring a post to the admin's attention, for instance if you think the post contains links to spam or virus-infected websites, or is completely off-topic or offensive or overly aggressive. If someone posts a bunch of nude photos with links to Russian porn sites while calling everyone on the board Nazi's, yeah, that should probably get reported. Don't worry about English...you be you! Yours isn't the worst I've seen on a forum (including some who are American citizens and grew up speaking the language). As someone once said, "English isn't really a language by itself...it's more of the illegitimate offspring of a drunken party between a dozen other languages, some of which may or may not be dead languages, and nobody's really sure if any of it was consentual."

Awesome job! Any chance to make sawdust is a GREAT time, whether its "a learning experience" (ie, the project has....something...happen and it ends up in the firewood pile) or a successfully completed project.

Totally appropriate. I was always partial to the flavored ones, myself....except for the vanilla ones. But back in the day (when I had a metabolism) I'd knock back a bag of flavored Tootsie Rolls almost as fast as they'd come through the door at home. Halloween night, the vanilla's got handed out to kids.

I have another set of plans (the young lady carries a sword, and its 7 layers instead of four) that I may try LED's with.

I've thought about that on several different projects, but haven't found a method yet to keep the two stains from bleeding over into one another. I've heard one scroller uses rubber cement to create a "dam" on one side of the dividing line...stain....peel off the rubber cement...put another "dam" on the freshly stained side and then stain the rest, but haven't gotten a chance to give it a try yet.
