  4. I love WW2 War Birds. Great cutting
  5. Fantastic cutting and detail
  6. Very nice detail.
  7. @don in brooklin on Don, that is an amazing little box. I like it a lot.
  8. G'day all, I have just posted this pattern in the New Pattern Section. https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/forums/topic/32901-browsers-welcome/ I cut this many years ago for my stall, but as I almost always do I stack cut 3. I don't think I ever had on display for more than a market or 2 as they all sol.,d, along with another couple of batches. Cheers John It's amazing how much you forget. I had completely;y forgotten about this technique I used of staining the frame and backer the same colour. I think I may do it on some more stuff.
  9. You are spot on Kevin, I am continuously behind the 8 ball with my tissue boxes.
  10. I have used this method for years. Especially when cutting our native hard woods, the teeth blunt really quickly. I have found that it is not so successful on spirals though as when they are blunt they are just about buggered and by lifting up the table I only get another couple of minutes before they break. I have a 3/4" table cut slightly over size and the same shape as my Dewalt. It has a build up around the bottom so it fits snugly on the original table and dosen't move. For the Ex21 I just use an over sized piece of 3/4" melamine MDF and a couple of baby clamps to hold it in place.
  11. Ray all that's required is, over 35 is bloody hot.
  12. Very nice piece Joe, coloured glass or a plain black back, it would still be striking. Reminds me of this piece we saw in Singapore
  13. Very nice Kevin, I do like the Barber one.
  14. Nice work on both pieces Jason
  15. A little late, but quite a few years ago someone in another forum said he was using the knob to use more of the blade. I sometimes use it to put a little more tension on a blade, especially when using spirals on 13mm or thicker. I do have references marked.
  16. Great job Edward, are there patterns on the other sides?
  17. Beautiful piece, beautifully cut.
  18. Great pattern, great work, for a great cause. All boxes ticked Jim
  19. A double Toy box I made about 10 years ago. (600x600x1200mm). I made a few single ones prior at 600mm cubed. From memory I used the scroll saw to cut the internal cuts of the letters. I made the lids lift off so as to prevent little finger getting jammed with a hinged lid.
  20. Very nice Gonzo, I watched a couple of youtube videos from the British museum about an original game they have and the bloke who worked out the rules. Fascinating.
  21. Thanks Lawson, I have a few special orders to complete eg mounting a couple of paintings and cutting out a heap of 400mm circles from 6mm MDF for an art class. (Don;t have a clue what they are going to do with them ) I really like the quick clips set up from WTB for hanging cuttings.
  22. Thanks Bill, This week has been like heaven mate, with the temperatures being the mid 30's c we have had a stinker of a summer (another reason not much got done in the shed) last week being an example with 3 days over 47c.
  23. Haven't posted anything of late, as I have been making the same old stuff due to a few successful markets and a lack of equipment. Both have been solved today. Wooden Teddy Bear haven't diminished any since I last used them about 5 years ago. Great service, only 9 days from placing the order to it arriving on my front door. Actual cost in Aussie dollars $175.00
  24. Super nice job Paul. I watched Steve's video on this and would love to cut it, but alas, like you I don't know where I'd put it.
  25. Very nice, I must make some puzzles, haven't done any for years, but love cutting them.
