  1. Super job Steve, Love the bright colours.
  2. You sure took the bit between your teeth for your 1st project. Excellently done.
  3. Not that I know of. The only place I've heard of it is this ladies business. She conducts art classes and sells different pieces. I believe it may have something to do with her and her husbands names. There was once a hair salon in town named "Pigs might Fly". The story behind that is, you have to submit three business names when registering a business in WA. They picked numbers 1 and 2, being quite sensible names for a salon, and hubby put "Pigs Might Fly" as number three, thinking that one of the 1st two would be a shoe in. Apparently they were both registered so the Dept. issued a business certificate with the 3rd ;). It actually turned out to be quite a brilliant marketing ploy as the shop front was painted pink and everybody new where it was, as it was quite a talking point, especially with visitors to the town.
  4. That's the business name the person has who I cut this piece for. I had a stall at markets that she organised just prior to Xmas. She asked me about making a piece for her husband for Christmas, featuring a crocodile. No firm order, and thought I would hear no-more about it. About a week before Christmas she messaged me and asked if I could make something like we talked about. This is the result, Did it all within 3 days and had a very happy customer.
  5. A nice piece Dick, and if the War Office is happy, everyone is happy It reminds me of the doilies that Mum had scattered around the house with precious objects sitting on them.
  6. Jeff, now that is bloody absolutely beautiful mate. At looks like it could be a pen and ink drawing or a very nice piece of Pyrography. Nothing more to say.
