  1. But Woodcraft is so expensive to start with on their tools. I bet it can be found elsewhere cheaper.
  2. I have the 10-325 and love it. the newer model, 10-326 has the easier to adjust rollers. I've been thinking about getting the retro kit for mine.
  3. Looks great! I have that pattern and will cut it one day. Every time someone cuts it, it makes me wanna go straight out to the shop and fire up the scroll saw!
  4. Very nice! I bet the bottom of that ear was very fragile until you attached it to the backer.
  5. I haven't posted any new scroll saw projects in a few months. Although I do stop in daily and see what everyone else is doing. I bought a small lathe a couple of months ago and started making pens. My plan was to make some for people at work and then make a small inventory and try to sell them at a local flew market along with some of my other projects. So far I haven't been able to keep up with the orders from work, let alone make an inventory. Then this virus came along. Along with all of the business closings and "stay at home" orders, the flea markets aren't open. So you would think that I could build my inventory now, but fortunately I'm one of the essential ones that must go to work, I work in a milk factory so I don't have anymore free time than I did before the virus. I do have a pile of scroll saw patterns getting bigger and bigger every day though!
  6. That's pretty cool! I gotta get back to my scroll saw soon, bought a lathe a couple of months ago and have spending all my time working with it.
  7. I'm a big fan. Was gonna see him at the Plant City Strawberry Festival in Florida back in '16. He cancelled because he was sick, a couple of months later he was gone. I have seen his sons in concert twice now. Nice cutting. I have a pattern, just haven't cut it yet.
  8. I noticed that too.
  9. I have 2 patterns for Willie that I haven't cut out yet. I think one of them is a Steve Good pattern, not sure of the other. I think one of them is the same pattern that you used. Looks good! He will be in concert this weekend in Orlando.
  10. Them inside hole counts add up fast! Great job!
  11. I just finished watching this movie a couple of days ago. Nice cutting!
  12. Thank you. Unfortunately I had to re-do the last name on one of them. My SIL informed me that we had the wrong last name on the base of one of them! We do not know my niece's fiance' so we used the name that we found on Facebook. Turns out it wasn't his last name that we saw on FB, it was his middle name! So I had to sand off the name and try again,, it turned out okay the second time around.
  13. Nice cutting! The feathers even look "soft".
  14. That's how I test which side is up....and that's the reason I always have cuts on my thumb! LOL
  15. Thanks Scrappy!
  16. Thanks Kevin! If you get any takers I know what I can make for you!
  17. Thanks Marg! The grain is really wild looking!
  18. Thanks Dave, much appreciated!
  19. Thanks, I hope they like them!
  20. I can't take credit for the letters. My wife has a Cricut cutting machine and makes all of the names and filigree out of vinyl and she heat transfers them onto the wood.
  21. ...and we just let our Sam's membership expire! I like the 77 but may try the others mentioned here because they are cheaper.
  22. I have made several of these now. These two are for my brother's two girls. One got married back in '17 and the other this coming July. I used some crotch Walnut for the bases and Cherry for the top part. It's hard to see in the pics, but the grain on the crotch Walnut is really cool looking.
  23. Looks great! I may have to check out that pattern. I have made something similar as wedding gifts. I've made about 8 of them (picture below) but a guy recently asked if I had something a little different.. the pattern that you used may fit the bill.
  24. Looks good! I had one years ago, but mine was yellow and made out of metal!
  25. Darn near 400 or 500 pilot holes I bet! Awesome job!
