  3. Dang! LOL Maybe I'll give it to her for Christmas.
  4. Thanks everyone! Several people here have made that pattern of the window with a picture of some nice scenery and I have wanted to make one ever since I saw it.
  5. Laid my Dad to rest 7 years ago today,, made this for myself yesterday. Him and my daughter about 10 years ago sitting on my bike. BB ply with Early American stain, used a FD UR1 blade.
  6. Thanks everyone!
  7. Thanks!
  8. Thanks Marg! I just finished another one with 2 palm trees and LED tape lights instead of rope light. This new one can be dimmed and changes colors.
  9. LOL,, I saw Steve's pattern on this. I was gonna make one and put a scratch off ticket in it for my daughter.

  13. Thanks! LoL, that's what I told them!
  14. Thank you! Correct, Blue Pine. I didn't know about the beetles, I believe it but I'm pretty sure there is a little help from a man-made process somehow,, there looks to be too much uniformity to be insect only. It's pretty wood for sure.
  15. Appreciate that
  16. Thank you!
  17. Made for some friends. Used a log slice from Hobby Lobby,, they call them "coasters". The wife used her Cricut to make the letters and numbers.
  18. Made this for some friends, one of Steve's patterns. They wanted to be able to leave it hanging all year long, so I made the Snowman removeable. I don't have any clear on it in these pics,, the paper pattern is still on the Snowman even! Hey,, it's the right color! 1/2" BB, used a FD UR1
  19. I posted about this in the "Works in Progress" folder last week. I found some cool looking wood at Lowe's, 3/4" tongue and groove Pine that already has a blueish stain applied to it. I bought a few pieces and played around with them until I got this. Here is a pic with some blue LED's behind it. It looks much better in person than in the pic. I have already sold two more of these. I think they are pretty neat looking,, no two look alike. The below pic is one of the ones that is sold, with and without the lights on. Another one that I have cut out has 2 Palm trees on it that looks pretty neat too.
  20. I've been following along in this thread,,,hoping to learn how to do this. I've never wanted to smash my computer as much as I do right now! LOL
  21. Very nice! I like the top one a bit better. I haven't made any of these yet but would like to. Is there a pattern available for the top one?
  22. John Denver
  23. I have a Rockler and a Woodcraft about 25 miles from me. I buy most of my BB at Rockler.
