  1. I cut these out of BBP with a FD UR1. The backer is some 1/8 scrap cheap ply that I had laying around. The first one I done several months ago. A co-worker saw it and wanted one. I made another but just a bit bigger. I'm not a frame maker.. at all! I found another similar image online that I wanted to cut but it needed some tweaking. Thanks for the help Birchbark!
  2. I stacked cut two of these over a year ago. Gave one to a co-worker for his son, just got around to finishing up the second one. I'm not real happy with how the easel turned out on this one. After looking at the pictures I think that I need to cut the top of the middle piece a bit shorter. I used scrap Pine for the stand and BBP for the plaque and backer. I know that Pine doesn't stain very nice so I use a pre-conditioner on the stand but it still didn't take a stain very good. Oh well, the wife is happy that I finished another project that I started last year,, well almost finished,, still needs a finish sprayed on the stand.
  3. Very nice cut! Especially in Pine.
  4. Harley isn't the only "cruiser" bike. I just sold (a huge regret) a cruiser that wasn't a Harley, that was faster than 90% of Harley's, better looking than most and cost much less than any Harley. No ill will intended, just a lot of people think they are the only cruisers.
  5. I installed one about 3 months ago and love it,, no problems so far.
  6. Damn, I just read this whole thread and I'm not even thinking about buying a new saw! LOL
  7. Cool! Never heard of this game. I had to Google it to learn how to play. I search Steve's site, didn't find a pattern for it. I will try again. Thanks for sharing.
  8. I cut this a few months ago, but compared to all the others posted I think I will use it for firewood!
  9. Ralph, looks like the cat is getting a prostate examination in the third pic! LOL Nice work on all of them.
  10. Did you use a spiral blade to cut this? It's really cool looking!
  11. Easy,, Kevin doesn't use a table on his scroll saw, he took it off years ago and just "holds" the piece and cuts it! LOL
  12. Neat! ...and that's a picture from my thread on your computer screen! LOL
  13. Damn nice! I've only completed 2 portraits so far.
  14. I love all the train pieces that I have seen over the years on this site. I will eventually get to do one.
  15. Really nice! I may have to try making one if you don't mind.
  16. I re-read his email to me, he actually sent me 2 patterns and said that he may not even publish either one.
  17. I sent him an email and he replied that he has 2 versions and that he is deciding which one to release.
  18. I sent him an email,, he has a pattern and will be releasing it soon.
  19. It holds your Peace Pipe. Now you have to make a Peace Pipe!
  20. Ya,, he usually does one for the winner of all the big games in each sport. My Cubs pattern in the first post is Steve's pattern. I'm just impatient! LOL
  21. I hope Steve Good makes a great pattern that I can cut out! LOL
  22. Yes! Come on Steve Good, make me a good pattern to cut out for my Bucs!
  23. I made this one when I first got back into scrolling a few years ago. I'm from Illinois and was a huge Cubs fan growing up. I ended up giving it to my sister,,,wished I would have kept it! Maybe I can make something for my Tampa Bay Bucs next week!
