  1. Thanks! I sold my motorcycle last year and used the money to build the fireplace. Ornaments were a last minute idea, so they had to be simple and fast.
  2. The fire is awesome! We don't get to use it much here in sunny Florida.
  3. I needed some quick and simple ornaments for an outdoor tree. Something that I didn't have much time invested in if/when they get destroyed by being outside. We finally got our outdoor fireplace finished on our back porch and the wife put a tree next to it. So that's where the ornaments come into play. The Santa's I've seen here on this site a couple of times and thought that I would also make us a set for the outdoor tree. My wife did the painting. Only one of them have the white balls on the hat's in the picture,,, the cats got to the rest of them! LOL The Merry Christmas pieces hanging on the fireplace were cut from a piece of branch from my Sycamore tree, my wife did the lettering on her Cricut.
  4. This design was popular here last year,, the grain in your piece is cool looking.
  5. I was wondering the same! LOL
  6. Nice looking sign, I like the distressed look around the edges. The font is cool also.

Nice job! I have made a few of those characters myself.
  8. Nice lettering! Sending good vibes your way to help with whatever is troubling you.
  9. I believe it was from Steve Good's page. I'll see if I can find it. Click on category, select Military. This pattern is available for each Branch. https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php
  10. Man I love the look of those signs! I've made a few myself. Nice pattern work and cutting!
  11. Very cool! I have been there myself. I actually cut out an Elvis practice piece yesterday.
  12. Thank you very much!
  13. ....about $85!
  14. Thanks Charlie! Btw, every time I go out to my garage I think of you.... my neighbor gave me all the doors off of his kitchen cabinets, he got new ones. The doors are Oak, I know that you like to use Oak on a lot of your cuts.
  15. I hope he likes it,, I told him I was gonna make him something but didn't tell him what. It can be propped up against something or hung on the wall.
  16. Much appreciated
  17. Thanks Dan
  18. Thanks, I might try another cut tomorrow.
  19. Thank you sir!
  20. Thanks to Dan for graciously making the name pattern for me! A co-workers dog had to recently be put down. After looking online for some ideas I decided on this pattern idea for him. This is the first thing that I have cut since July. Things kept getting in between my saw and me! Had family come down for vacation, then we went on vacation, then Covid slapped me pretty hard. My left hand finally quit shaking so much about a week ago so I figured it was time to get back to the saw. I'm not very happy with the lettering so I'm blaming that on the Covid. It's a 7" square piece of popular as the backing and 1/8" BB ply for the front piece. My wife cut out the red words and the red heart on her Cricut cutter. Couple coats of clear as the finish.
  21. I like them all! I had patterns of a couple of those and now can't find them. I made this one 2 years ago and was going to make a couple more for this season but I'm still recovering from Covid and my hands are still shaky.
  22. I liked them last year,, and I like them now!
  23. Very nice! I have a co-worker that wants a female version of something similar.
