  1. Wow,, I am just seeing this thread. Lots of very nice cuts!
  2. I really like that! I will look into obtaining this pattern for a future cut.
  3. Nice, looks real enough to bite!
  4. I went out to the shop to start working on a couple of projects a few hours ago. Got a little warm, had to turn the fan on,, still didn't cool down much. Turned the A/C on and will try again later.
  5. But the rule is that you have to post a picture of the finished product! LOL
  6. A short video of how it works would be cool to watch.
  7. I like them both! I may have to look into cutting the "Creepy" one to go along with my Alien that I cut for this past Halloween.
  8. That looks like either Lacewood or Leopard wood. They are very similar in looks. I used Leopard wood for the base of this clock.
  9. Thanks everyone! I had fun making the Santa, didn't have to be exact on any of the lines. Now the Jeep ornament was another story! I tried my best to stay on the lines.
  10. The wife and I were in Michaels last week and I saw them for $12, but she had a 40% off coupon. If I had a little more ambition I would fire up the chainsaw,, I have several stumps from a maple tree in the backyard. But the store bought one was already cut and sanded!
  11. Santa for us and the Jeep ornament for some friends. Thanks to Birchbark for the pattern! Two others made patterns that I will also cut out in a few days, Gordon and multitom. I appreciated them all! I should have painted the tires black. Actually, I shouldn't have painted it all at, but the friends like all of their vehicles red.
  12. I agree with Ray, I like to be able to see a little info about people. I have been on a motorcycle forum since 2004. We have a big reunion get-together every year and several smaller ones throughout the year. Some of the people that I have met on that forum have become closer than some of my family members. We all know where everyone lives, what they do for work, what they ride all because they/we have entered in a little info. Joe asks where is the best place to buy a rear tire, everyone knows that Joe is from Atlanta so all of the people around Atlanta chime in. It's not mandatory, but it does help to know a little about who you are keyboarding with.
  13. Same with people who do the chainsaw carvings. I WISH I had that kind of talent! I just trace a line with a blade that someone else drew.
  14. Thanks Ray!
  15. Thanks!
  16. I don't know if it was Hard Maple or not. The piece was included in a box of "cut-offs" from Ocooch Hardwoods that I bought.
  17. Thanks,, funny video.
  18. Thanks Marg! I am making another one for my wife to paint. I will prob stick with the reindeer on that one.
  19. I like your feet better than what I used. I used wood to make a small square pad.
  20. I almost didn't cut the inner circle but decided to go for it.
  21. Thanks Melanie! Thanks for including the link too.
  22. Thanks Dan, much appreciated.
  23. As mentioned, it is on Steve Good's site. I have been getting lazy with cutting letters and words lately,, it's much easier to have the wife cut out on the Cricut what I need!
  24. Thanks Scrap!
