There was a little vibration. I put a concrete block on the lower shelf of the factory stand and the vibration went away. Any kind of weight would work. I'm glad I went with the Bora wheel kit.

Hey, I remember that font! It was pretty popular here a couple of years ago. I made a sign for my shop with it. Can't remember the name. I think it was Don in Brooklin that made the pattern for me. Nice work!

Sorry to hear about your sister. I have lost both my parents but I still have 2 brothers and 2 sisters,, I really only stay in touch with 1 sister. The thing with losing parents is that you lose a lot of information and knowledge. Very nice memorial piece. It seems the last few years, that is all that I have been making.

Nice! I have made about half a dozen or so of those.. fun to make and gives my wife something to do.. as she does the painting. Just yesterday I found and printed out a Santa version of this to try and make soon for this year.

I've always said that one of the differences between a band saw and a scroll saw is that if you cut your finger on a scroll saw,, a band aid is needed. If you cut your finger on a band saw,, a hospital is needed!

Wow! Those bricks, the face, everything! Great job. I can't even spell Intarsha, let alone create it! LoL I have done several Segmentation pieces, so I am working up to attempting intarsia.

Kevin, I've been a member here for around 7 years. Never had an issue with anyone except one person. That person is always forcing his opinion on others, his way is the right way, his tools are the best tools, he will never buy anything from Harbor Freight because it is all junk he says. He doesn't understand that some of us can't afford the top of the line tools. We have to use what we can. I have engaged in very very few conversations with him over the years and don't feel that I have missed out on anything because of that. He has come and gone several times in my short 7 years, I imagine he will continue to do so. I do admit that he does very nice work, but I don't let people like that in my life. I thoroughly enjoy spending time here and reading everyone else's post and admiring everyone's talents. I know I will get a response and I don't blame him, it is his right.. but I won't engage. Very nice cross by the way!

If I remember correctly, you cut the Soda pattern a few months ago,, I was recently trying to find the thread on this to show my wife the cut. I thought it was awesome,, now with the other two.. It makes for an incredible series of cuts. Well done.

I didn't know Ole' Gavin Newsom was that strict! LOL Would your manager know if you made small changes like that? It doesn't have to be permanent. Side note, last year you mentioned a Japanese (I think) woodworker that you follow. You posted a link to his stuff. I remember that he had some push sticks that I wanted to replicate. If you remember who I am talking about, can you please post that link again?
