  5. Wow! Great project! Thanks for all the pictures on the work. Very cool!
  6. Great looking! I can hardly believe you tackled the rose with a single used 2/0. I get too worried about unexpected flaws and having to start over again to try to economize on blades.
  7. Wow, Cant imagine getting things down to such accurate angles like that. That wood sounds pricey too! Well it turned our looking absolutely perfect, Well done and congratulations!
  8. Woops, should have paid attention to the previous posts Lol!
  9. Dennis the menace?
  10. Awesome! yes that day is approaching fast. My wife used to work for American Greetings and Valentines day was the single busiest day / season of the year for her. That was a bit awkward since it was/is also our anniversary.
  11. Wow! Great looking box! VERY nice!
  12. Great looking project! Nicely done.
  13. Thanks. Yes, Sharon looked at it yesterday and said "Now What?" Lol! I am sure something will pop into our heads soon enough. I will post the pic when that happens. Also, I think I probably spent a good week on this but it was real on and off type of work.. I didn't really keep track. I am a VERY slow cutter.
  14. Wow, Looks great!
  15. That reminds me, I need to send Steve a donation for the last piece I did from his catalog.
  16. I saw that on his blog too. That looks awesome, I am sure your wife is tickled to get it.
  17. Awesome. I will have to go look it up in the other forum!
  18. Wow! That is some incredible precision. Flawless work! You must have some Adrian Monk blood in you..
  19. Interesting!
  20. What a cool idea! I love it.
  21. Awesome!
  22. Your Granddaughter will love it!
  23. I decided to try this frame from Steve Good's catalog. I used 1/4" BB and FD-UR #1 blades and my Hegner saw. The pattern also calls for another layer (an oval vignette for a 5X7 photograph) but I am undecided about that at the moment. The cutting went fairly well and it kept me nicely occupied for a few days.
  24. Good to know. I will have to send an order to Denny next time I need Pegas blades. FWIW, Lesley's has done fine every time I ordered over the last few months.. I went several years without placing any orders and then last year during Christmas season I decided to get a good stock of FD blades and they all arrived just fine. Their shipping does seem unusually slow though, I agree. The other night I wrote them an email and I got a reply back within the same hour. What I really like is that on their invoice they say "In Business to serve Christ". I checked the "about us" narrative on their web site and they are still a "mom-and-pop" family business mostly run by mom so I am not sure about what might have happened in the past.
  25. Welcome Tim!
