  1. That is sooooooo cool. I want one!!!!
  2. A Napkin holder that my Beautiful Bride requested.
  3. Not a scrolling project but one I am proud of. The rest of the photos are at the link below in the challenge for the month.
  4. I cheated and put 3 Scroll Saw projects on top. This is my project that I finished today. I have been saving wood and designing over and over in my head for about a year. All of the wood is either grown and cut right around the house or reclaimed from a local barn that was built in the 1890's. The woods are Oak, Pine and Cedar. All were rough cut and either planed down or lightly sanded. Some of it had worm holes and I thought it added some character. The finish is sprayed satin Poly. The size is 36"x54", Bences are 19" tall. I only used 8 brads for the leg pillars and 8 screws to hold the top on. Everything else is glued and doweled. I am hoping to make memories with this table and my Son and Granddaughters.
  5. I for sure would LOVE a copy of this pattern.
  6. Super awesome piece. My favorite Willie so far. He is a pretty nice guy. I saw him play at the Sonoma County Fair in the early 90's. After he was done he just got off stage and sat at a picnic table with us normal folks.
  7. Awesome work. I am no where near a hundred pieces, let alone faces.
  8. Thanks a million. I have only painted the backer on one project because I didn't like the way the original backer turned out. Since then I have always stained them. I use either Ebony, Dark Walnut or Red Mahogany stains for my backers.
  9. it is around 11x12
  10. Charlie I am handing it off to my brother now. He wanted to make a frame for it. He moved here from Denver a month ago and is also a wood worker. I am anxious to see the frame he makes for it.
  11. That is friggin AWESOME!!!

  16. This is the favorite bowl that I have made yet. Poplar and oak 3/4". it is 6"x8" in dimension. Stained with a Red Mahogany stain that was out of date and then sprayed with a satin Poly.
  17. Bruce I had my 2 strips of walnut, Spaced them 3/4 apart. Closed off the ends with some scrap, clamped it down to a wax paper covered board and poured the epoxy into it. Then attached pattern cut and stacked it.
  18. Love them both. Bowls are my favorite thing to make.
  19. Love it. I would love to have a copy of the pattern also.
  20. Beautiful job!!
  21. Now that is some Scroll Saw talent!
  22. Thought I would try a bowl with an epoxy stripe. It turned out okay. The Wobble Basket Bowl is a Steve Good pattern.
  23. They are just cut from 3/4 Poplar.
  24. Between working on a bunch of worn out farm equipment, the garden and working on the house I finally got to get in the shop for a few days. The bowls are Poplar strips glued together and then bowls made from the boards. The basket is the first I have tried like that. It is just from 3/16 plyboard.
  25. Awesome work. I need to try that pattern.
