  1. Thats a lot of scrolling there. Good job.
  2. Those are a great idea. Super nice work!
  3. I wanted to make something fun and out of my normal. These desktop catapults are super nifty
  4. Just some of the new bowls. I was pretty happy with them all.
  5. My brother is a fine fine craftsman.
  6. It feels pretty in the shop!!!!
  7. I figure out the exact angle for each bowl using a caliper and construction calculator and don't have near as much sanding as I used to, I had one by pure luck that I pretty much just had to knock the glue off.
  8. Yeppers. I make my own bowl patterns. I love the new saw. I didn't think I could get much better than my Delta but this one is REALLY nice. I love the tilting head instead of the tilting table.
  9. Love the napkin holder!!
  10. Nice job on all of them.
  11. Those are great!
  12. You have a lot more time than I do!!!! Nice cuts.
  13. Yet another fantastic piece!!
  14. Here is my 50th portrait. I wanted to cut Charlie E's Willie Nelson pattern, since it is the best I have seen. I really admire Charlie's pattern and portraits so I wanted to honor him with the 50th I glued up some poplar and am not happy with the line in his face, I could have chose a better piece. This is a Bowland Farms Brothers Project. My Brother Barry made the frame. It is oak and walnut with oak splines.
  15. Got my new saw in and here are my first projects. The Native American in Wooden Leg (I have the file named wrong). The turquoise bowl is poplar and my first on the saw. The oak bowl is my second,
  16. I have read that they used to be made in the same factory with a few little changes. Now the Excaliber switched to being made in China instead of Taiwan. I would have bought a Taiwan model but the china ones have had some problems.
  17. Dick, I go through phases. I have a whole album of just bowls on my profile. Just go ahead and try one. I will even send you a simple pattern and give you the angle according to your piece of wood.
  18. I said if I kept working in my shop for 2 years that I would buy a saw that I wanted. I am going from a Delta to a brand new Pegas 21" I sure hope I like it and it does better than my delta. I am giving the delta to my brother. He REALLY wants one.
  19. Great looking pieces.
  20. The Sandlot?
  21. The oblong one seems to be everyones favorite.
  22. The oblong Walnut bowl is about 15 inches long. It is a coffee table bowl. The round oak and walnut is from my scrap wood box. It is 5" in diameter,
  23. As they used to say, "you are long in the tooth". These ones turned out better than my previous thanks to a new way I find out my angles. You can make some great bowls if you just go ahead and make some.
  24. Just go ahead and bite the bullet and make some. They are fun to make.
  25. I have sold or given away almost all of them.
