  1. Apparently, the Force was with you when cutting that! Excellent job, Don.
  2. Great idea, Denny! They turned out very nice.
  3. A place near me sells plain bird houses with a few flowers painted onto them for $60 to $75. I can't imagine what you could get for a gnome bird house. Great job on the cut and the finish. I agree that I like the one where you painted over the eyes a lot more.
  4. Hey! I know that guy! Just kidding. You did a great job.

Cute projects, Edward. You did a great job!
  6. Nice cut. I was a little confused at the backwards writing until I scrolled a little more and realized it was writing on the outside of glass.
  7. What a great piece. Fantastic job.
  8. Super cute! I'm sure she will love it!
  9. Great job!
  10. This was one I did a while back for my wife's dog training club fund raiser. I thought it was somewhat neat because it had multiple dog breeds. The person/pet statues were some of the very first scroll cuts I ever did.
  11. A busy week for some great projects. Love the wolf piece!
  12. Excellent Craig. Coloring is nice but I'm really impressed with the grain in your maple.
  13. Great job Dick! And it's always a plus if the client is happy.
  14. I think something similar happens to all of us. I have spent several hours cutting a double stack piece today when I decided to sand some of the burrs of the back. When I flipped it over I realized some of the fragile lettering had torn out. If it had been one or two pieces I would have tried to find the pieces and repair them but there were probably half a dozen and I had already vacuumed earlier. Regardless, Eric. You cutting is great. You've come a long way in a short time!
  15. Beautiful work, Marg. The ornaments are really crisp, and the gnomes seem to be a hit now days. Hope the driveway market is a success!
  16. Cute project, Chuck. I bet they would sell easily!
  17. Not sure about cutting it but I have a Fender Strat made from Alder that is very heavy! Sounds great so I don't think I'll cut it up into scrolling projects.
  18. Keep the chin up Brenda. Looking forward to seeing your finished project.
  19. Great job, Charlie. The rustic wood of the cutting really matches the dirty character of the actor.
  20. That's a large array of techniques. Great job!
  21. Beautiful piece, Denny. We're going to have to start calling you the Bowl Master!
  22. Glad you had a successful day.
  23. Wanted to make a little something to give my mother on Mother's Day. This is a Steve Good pattern cut on 1/4 birch finished with natural stain and several coats of clear with light sanding between coats. The back is pine painted green or red in appropriate areas. I actually cut this double stack and the other one will go to my wife. Steve's pattern calls for a 1/4 inch rectangle around the outside edge but the wife liked it better without. I've said before, happy wife, happy life! I wish the lady members of the forum a Happy Mother's Day!
  24. Hope you have a forklift for when you want to move it. Great job!
  25. Tbow hits another one out of the ballpark... actually TWO. Love the Serenity Pray and I like the way the wood grain shows through the red stain on the bookshelf.
