Nice project, Eric. I see nothing a little sanding wouldn't take care of. Something I've noticed when cutting, especially with wood such as pine, is the blade has a tendency to follow the grain when cutting with the grain and when cutting against the grain, the feed of the blade will slow down as it cuts through the hard portion of the wood and then speed up when it is pushed through the softer part of the grain. If you're not careful, it will make you drift off you lines. I notice this more with spiral blades. Anyway, this has been my experience. Others on the forum may have other ideas.

Very nice, Ron. It looks like the frets were filled with clear epoxy with the lighting either inside or behind.

These look awesome, Tony. That's one of my future projects. I notice the one from Ireland is a little different (wording) than the ones you cut.

Through the years I've had a '57 Gibson Les Paul TV Model (Same one Potsy played on Happy Days) Gibson Les Paul Classic, Fender '52 Tele Special (Probably my favorite) Washburn Acoustic, Fender Strat Mexican, Fender Tele Classic 50, Fender Precision Bass, and currently have a Fender American Deluxe Strat and a Taylor 615E pre dovetail neck. Play through a Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue. To old to be carrying amps and equipment playing gigs every weekend. Been on 5 CD projects over the years. Played southern rock, C&W and pop. If you know anyone looking a good Fender Strat and amp, I've got a nice set. Love my Taylor but if someone wanted to pay the price I would consider selling it. Money would go to a new saw.

Love it when they sell before you're finished. Great job. However, if you took the picture I'd like to see more of the guitar the project is lying on. Looks like a Gibson Les Paul in Sunburst. I've was in bands from age 12 until I finally gave it up around five years ago. Still have a couple high end guitars I'd love to get rid of so I could buy a new scroll saw.

Nice job, especially for a new scroller. I really like the coasters/trivets. That thicker wood can sometimes be trying! But then, thin wood can also be difficult when trying to prevent break out.

Excellent job. those thin cuts for the rope had to be a bugger to keep from breaking out. The grain looks nice also. Looks like Oak.

I like the coloring and brightness of the second plaque much better. More vibrant! As far as the spelling on the first plaque, if anyone says anything just tell them you meant to do that.
