  1. I don't know how it works in the US, but in Europe all plastic bottles must have attached their cap (it's intented to reduce plastic garbage and achieve a better recycling process). The idea behind all this is OK, but whenever you drink directly from these bottles, it's almost impossible not to spill water, yoghurt, chocolate milk or whatever else on your clothes.
  2. I was not sure if alcohol could damage the rubber, but it worths a try. The worst thing it can happen is that I should by a new mask.
  3. I am using a GVS P3 respirator (I don't know if it's the better choice) and I have two questions related to it. Maybe some of you using this respirator (or similar) can give me a hint: - GVS recommends changing the filter every 30 days for a kind of intensive use. It's not my case. How do you know when you need to change the filters? Can you gently vaccum them to clean them a little bit? - Do you desinfect in some way the respirator after every use? I clean it with water from time to time, but I am afraid of mold or invisible bacteria forming because of humidity when breathing through the respirator. If so, what do you use for desinfection? Thanks for your answers.

  5. Welcome from Southern Europe, Joe. I am a beginner too, although I started scrolling a yer ago. But when you see some of the creations that folks here can achieve, I am afraid that I will remain a beginner for a long, long time. But I am enjoying every bit of it. Feel free to ask. There is always someone willing to help.

  22. Welcome from Southern Europe. I also use most of my wood from the nearby forests, but unfortunately I don't have such a variety of woods, most of it is red pine and oak, and some maple too, but I am quite happy with it.

  24. I am curious about the types of local woods you can get in NZ.
