John, Yer da man! Nice designs and well made. but what do you do, drink the wine before it gets to the 'bottle holders'? -
First, Your design is impressive. You do quite nice work. Now as to the 'cracking of the lacque... A warning on some lacquer containers states that the second and subsquent coats must be applied within a few minutes, if not, then it needs to dry for 24 hours before applying the next coat. Or crackinh may occur.

Those are nice scrollings. A great variety of wood you use. Speaking of wood, would you explain why a Texan is cutting Louisiana. Just kidding. Bobscroll (above) has made some nice patterns of the 'states' including Texas.

In General Scroll sawing there is a post "Results of Blade usage' This may be the link to it.... some info on blades As to $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ making....... Most of my profit comes from the total enjoyment of showing and giving. Though, I did make enough this year to buy a bench sander and saw blades. I would guess, most here profit little and some do well.
