  1. Luis, These are some very nice pieces of work. #1 I'm unsure of. #2 Is beautiful and I would like to try to see if I can scroll it as well as you. #3 Excellent combination of wood. #4 The Cross is so intricate and well done. #5 The polite Cowboy and pretty Cowgirl, well done. #6 Most romantic and another I want to cut. #7 Tough way to get your ear pierced. And may the Lord ease your job and your fishing partner improve their cast.
  2. I have enough at the moment. Haven't seen all that is here ... but I'm working on it.
  3. As Scrappy said, learn the blades that works best for you and the wood. As you have already realized, practice. We all make mistakes, the trick is learning to hide most of them. Consider using good plywood like Baltic Birch. Also when using solid wood be aware it can warp. And I like Sloans Woodshop also for blades.
  4. Seriuosly, this is another nice display of your work.
  5. Oh, on the clamps, there is the clamp and the butt end. Check them both. I use 220 grit on an orbit sander.
  6. I want to hear you broke the Record !
  7. Gary, Welcome to The Village. With 11 years experience in fret you should have some scroll work to show. Hopefully it hasn't been one piece all these years. Come on in and check everything out. Lots to see and tour. And be sure to join us in the Coffee House Daily

Girl and boy doves, I can tell by the eye lashes of the first one. Simply 'nice'. Your cuts are very clean and sharp. Good job Doc.
  17. I also have both FD & Olson's. I want to check that. Today, I was cutting and put in a new blade and I had problems with corners. I initially blamed it on "TOO small a blade." Put in larger one and all was good. Now I am going back to shop and see who's blades did what.
  18. Beautifully done. Cherry is a great choice for it. Of course, the knot is good.
  19. Well Chief, lets get started with you filling out the required paperwork. The 'Forum' has 'Coffee House' has 'Rogues Gallery' needs your mug shot Everybody except boBscroll has participated. This is to prove you are not a CNC machine of which boB might be. We love slow learners, check out how long Roly has been here. Hans,I must say, is the mad fret scroller. Look at what he scrolls if you doubt me. #2, questions are required. #3 pictures are a must...........one of your insignia so a pattern can be made for your first scroll project. #4 see #2 & 3 #5 see #4 What scroll saw do you have????????????
