I love everything about it. Lot of cutting, a lot of detail and all well done. To tell the truth, I don't really care for the green or that it is sideways. All the rest is amazing.

I cut this for my neighbor Fred...just kidding. The wood is Walnut and the base is Spanish Cedar. The font is Snell BD BT Really enjoyed doing it. Tks Kevin.

Oh, heavy question. I guess I don't have a favorite Mahogany, easy to cut, beautiful and elegant...just hard to come by. For beauty, Tiger Maple. Oak I love for water scenes...Oak is nice to work with Walnut is beautiful. Maybe Ash Ike, some sawmills here get more $ money $ for wood chips than for lumber. Thats because some mfg. plants are using wood chips to produce energy. So most sawmills are chipping "ALL" scrap. Becoming hard to get unless you know someone.
