  10. Wow, An hour...be gone before you know it....... You know the rule, Just talk to one person, how you would introduce them to scrolling. The variety of and buying a saw. necessary supplies blades, drill, sandpaper, attaching patterns web links...........Have some 'business cards' to pass around. Show a selection of scroll work from easy to hard Use a lot of " Uh's and errs" and "you knows" and "talk slow" like yer from my hometown.

    RIP

    Sorry for his passing. RIP
  14. I would check the saw out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But don't break the warrenty. That's a new saw. Is it still under warrenty? It may be a good idea to disassemble and check motor mounts are tight. While it's apart, grease bearings because Delta and Dewalt don't grease well. I have two Deltas, A 40-694 and a 40-690... Good saws.... PM me if you have any questions..
  15. Gordie, My Wife agrees with you totally!!! And you made me sit up straight in my chair with a smile. I like the frame!!! I like the Bird in Maple leaf!!! The idea of putting them together came from SSW&C Magazine that has some other 'bird' patterns. (last 2015 issue) I am just x-spearmenting Thank you.....................
  16. What a great 'invention'. Oh, i'd call it a 'T-Nut Driver'
  17. I like the 'Flash' much better! I do commend you on the great job cutting these...oops... that one.
  18. Paul, I agree. This one my Wife likes it as it is. I have two more of these and I am open to more suggestions. Maybe a diffferent frame, less prominent. I will try a different style frame for another and see if I like it. Thanks for your input!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Yes, cut from pre-made framing stock I was given.
  20. The bird in leaf is cut from 1/4" Oak Luan and is about 5" x 6" The frame is 8" x 6 1/2" .... The opening is 5" x 3 1/2" Kinda like the idea of framing this. This is my first one and of course my Wife claimed it. I plan on doing a variety of birds and hope I can keep some to sell. Please give opinion and suggestions... Thank you.
  21. Ha ha ha, Great add Steve.

  25. Please correct if I'm wrong! All blades cut the same. A burr on one side makes no diff on table tilt. ******************************************************************* Table tilted left: Cutting clockwise, the top will be larger than the bottom. cutting counter clockwise, the top will be smaller than the bottom. Table tilted right: Cutting clockwise, the top will be smaller than the bottom. cutting counter clockwise, the top will be larger than the bottom.
