  1. Lovely, wish I could do that.

And that one reminds me of: The doctor calls up his patient and says, "I have terrible news, Mr. Bodin. You have cancer and you have Alzheimer's." Mr. Bodin says, "Well, at least I don't have cancer."
  3. Looks good Roly. I guess most people like their name.
  4. I think this will inspire more ideas.... Like " Scroll a keyring that is a name"
  5. A grand picture frame. Beautifully done.
  6. I checked the fuse. I have all the side plates and covers off. Now I have to get my Bro-in-Law over to check power to switch. I could try Dicks suggestion ( take the on/off switch loose and jump the wires and if that makes the saw run, it is in your switch) ..if I trusted myself to do it right. Well, it is either the switch or the motor.........(I think)
  7. My Delta 40-690 (Like a DW788) was running normally until I shut it off. Now it will not turn on. I checked the brushes which are a little over 1/2 inch long. My booklet says replace at 3/8 inch so they should be ok. I reset connectors to switch. It ran. I turned it off and it would not turn back on. I took covers off and all I see is PC board. Any suggestions? I bought it from Sears in June 2010. Larry
  8. Yes, the eyes make that. Great job.

    New saw.

Good deal. Already broke in and ready to go.
  10. Same ol'e same ol'e well cut. And the Same ol'e same ol'e font is great for names.
  11. Welcome ! Hope to see you often.
  12. You did a great job. I would not know it was poor quality wood. Doesn't even look like wood, Just a beautiful piece of work.
  13. Do the job right or go to the pub, I say.
  14. DW makes a good point. You will have to decide your approach. Continue having other situations like the above or make reasonable changes your customers would agree to. You made yourself vulnerable by not having a verbal/written or handshake contract and some token of commitment from your customer. They got me again.. get me once, shame on them, get me twice shame on me
  15. The Dewalt is a good saw and plenty big enough for whatever you cut. Are you going to cut anything longer than your legs? Cut one of the doors in your house in half, will you cut anything bigger than that? I think you will love the Dewalt especially after the Ryobi
  16. THose are neat. Good idea and nice job.
  17. Boy, aren't you one to 'Wiff Woff' and prolong a decision. Wiff Woff- bounce back and forth like a ping pong ball Get the 20" Dewalt, wear it out and then buy a 33 1/3" saw or a 21" Actually, the answer is to get the Dewalt and the Excalibur Oh, you never said what saw you currently have. Another thought is experience would tell you to get the bigger saw, no experience would say, 'any saw will do.'
  18. As said before, You are a master fret scroller.
  19. Some newspaper or magazine should pick this story up.. The Amazing Kevin Scroller Story. Another fine job cutting. Does a truck come by once a week to pick up your sawdust?
  20. Ike, keep it up and you will have to build a storage room. To me, 150 is the general all purpose sandpaper.
  21. I like it and you did a great job cutting. Thumbs Up on it.
  22. The Wrist of the story. Good news it isn't broken, I'm sorry it's sore. Poor kid. I think I'll have a cup O tea.

  24. I knew before I looked that it would be nice. Beautiful. Some time soon, I will try making one.
  25. There is something unknown about Kevin...............................
