I have items I've cut that I want to mount on an oval backer. Circles, squares...etc are easy.. How do I make and cut an oval 'pattern' to satisy the size I want? All it will be is a backer I mount a piece of scroll on. I can print one and size it,,, Just thought there would be a simple way... No strings please...

I Have to agree with Len, Dan, Ron.... I did name one person and should not have... not my place to choose, pick anyone. Too much to consider... That is an incredible question.... you could get a few hundred named... I could give you thirty plus that impress me. Most all who do fretwork are candidates. Hey, how about the intarsia artists? and Then, and then.... There's Me, Me, Me, Me, Me, Me... Moi, Mua, Mhe, Mene, Meh, Meg, Mi, Yo... Well, I could be....

Bucket, wheel borrow, or truck load? My sawdust all goes in for horse bedding. Very important: Black Walnut.... KILLS No shavings, chips or any bits around 'horses'. Also none to be used with any other animals or plants.

I like your idea. Just a bit on the frugle side for me. My Wife is a 'saver', so I understand. I have a quart of shellac two years old, probably will never use it. After I brush on BLO Mix, I clean my brushes in a pint peanut butter jar of lacquer thinner. After a few times, the bottom of the peanut butter jar of lacquer thinner is very hazy,,, I dump it out, fouling the crumbling cement pad where I park my tractor but it also kills the weeds. Almost all my sawdust and floor sweepings goes in a horse stall for bedding, wood chips are fire starters until I figure something else out. I have little tin cans full of stuff that I have saved and I have no idea what most of it is for... but I keep it anyway SO I save, recycle and reuse also, just not shellac

I don't have nor have even seen an EX-16 but if it will make you feel better, look for moving parts that you can oil/grease.
