Kids like dogs are a reflection of their owners and parents.
An image of who raises them.
I'm irritated and frustrated with the society today. Self centered and thoughtless beyond themselves.
All about me!!!!! and little about God.
Thanks for that reminding info.
I'm going to try it.
I'll try mixing equal portions of BLO, MS lacquer thinner and Lacquer.
Just to see... Would eliminate cleaning my spray gun...or buying
I use either a miter saw or a scroll saw to trim my edges, whichever is easier.
If I paint a backer, I paint only what I want shown.
If I have a backer with a different tone, I leave all as it is.
Be careful not to ruin by trying to stain or paint.
Dan, I apply my finish like you.
I have seen where some mix BLO, MS and Poly.
How do you think mixing equal portions of BLO, MS and Lacquer would work.
Mix it and soak or brush it on.
Dave, I cut most of those 'skinny' areas "OVERSIZE" so they are not as skinny as the pattern shows.
Also, It is nice when "The Cutting is done!"
My favorite time with each of these was when I took the pattern off and all 4 in the stack came out nice.
I do not know what birds these are. Wish I did. The patterns come from Alison Tanner and Steve Good (I think. All birds cut from 3/8" luan. Sizes are approx. 8"x 8"... 5/8" thick or so. The wood is Black Walnut, Birch... and the block is Red Oak Burl. Comments welcome.
If you have enough foam,,, try one until you find one.
I would try a cheap wood burner that has an exacto blade...
You kinda can burn/cut your way thru the foam....
