dansnow Posted December 8, 2014 Report Posted December 8, 2014 Just finished this up. Been planning to make one for some time and finally sketched it up a couple days ago. Took longer to sand and paint than it took to cut out. Base is 1/2 pine, disks are 3/8" pine. Thanks for looking amazingkevin 1 Quote

dansnow Posted December 8, 2014 Author Report Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) There is a simple formula for figuring the minimum number of moves to solve the puzzle, it is 2 to the nth - 1. Using 8 disks the result is 255 moves. That oughta keep the little buggers busy for a while! Edited December 8, 2014 by dansnow Quote
wombatie Posted December 9, 2014 Report Posted December 9, 2014 The dog looks very interested but doesn't want to move. Bet the painting was a bit of a pain to do, but you did an excellent job. Marg Quote
dansnow Posted December 10, 2014 Author Report Posted December 10, 2014 Actually Marg, the painting was the easiest part. A couple coats of krylon rattle can primer, then a couple coats of rattle can krylon color and that was it. Oh, and sanding it to 320 grit helped too. Quote
