Scrolling Steve Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 That's some very nice cutting,Larry!........The last cut is the one we are always looking for isn't it! LarryEA 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 That is surely a beauty! I love the pattern and looks like it has been cut by an expert. What is the size of your picture? I differ, I love scrolling and do not look forward to the last cut. Then I have to start worrying the finishing. Hoping I don't break something cleaning up and all. Yes, you are right, cutting does not end all the delicate work. I always look underneith for pieces that fell out when I sand. And finishing can ruin a piece of work. Nice work Larry! I love the look of maple. How thick is it? I just edited dimensions,,,,, 15 x 11 x 3/4 thick Edited January 7, 2015 by LarryEA Quote

amazingkevin Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) There you go ! See what a good breakfast can bring out in a man.I'd like a Trompe-l'œil picture frame that makes you think your looking out the window and seeing this guy in the tree close to the house watching your every move! Wilson's Woodworking Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 I could only Like this once but would have used up all my likes on this one project if possible! This turned out fantastic!!!! The only thing I couldn't find is the cribbage hole pattern around it. I agree with Kevin. A picture frame type of frame for this one would really set it off. Great job buddy!  amazingkevin and LarryEA 2 Quote

ubgoofy2003 Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Larry, you did a fantastic job on that piece. I really like Kerry's patterns. They are realistic & very precise. Many holes to cut, but, worth every minute of time. I can't imagine how slow it must have been, cutting it & how many blades did you have to use? Well worth it though. Thanks for letting us enjoy it. Take Care LarryEA 1 Quote
