Way to go Marg, it's a great way to use up some scraps of wood. Personally though, I think the Mr. Crisps ones should have the wood grain running in the opposite direction.

Yes they are made from some scrap pine and then I just put some olive oil on them.

All of the ones I cut my two daughters took home with them, didn't even leave me one.

I would have Len but it was only a narrow strip of wood so I used it the way I could.
