GPscroller Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 As requested by by Lucky2 and RFK48 here are pics of the project both oiled, painted and framed. My wife, Janice, has MS and when she paints, it calms her down and she doesn't bob or wobble for some reason. I have also included a Sue Walker project I cut (one of my favourites). Hope you all like the results. Jeff Fish, Birchbark, DonR and 3 others 6 Quote

lonewolf Posted August 21, 2016 Report Posted August 21, 2016 Good work, and the paint works excellent. Quote
ubgoofy2003 Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 WOW, those are really nice. I love the coloring. It does a lot for all of us. I'm glad it relaxes your wife. I think it does a lot, even for me when I add color to a piece that I've done. Thanks so much for sharing. Wonderful work by you both. Quote
meflick Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 Beautiful work both ways. Your wife does an excellent job with the painting. You make a great team as already stated. Glad she fines an outlet that helps calm her. My mother in law is almost 88. She enjoys the new coloring book craze. She has bad hand shaking for several years but it seems to calm her's and she can color without the shaking. Quite interesting human brains. Thanks for sharing. Quote
Lucky2 Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 Jeff, both pieces look amazingly good, does the color ever change the way they look. I don't usally like painted projects, but, for these two items I have to disagree with what I usually think or like. You and your wife are quite the team, your painted projects should sell for double the norm. Len Quote
Ron Johnson Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 Credit to you both for some fabulous art. Well done. Quote
country girl Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 What a powerful difference the color makes. I hope you continue to feel good amazingkevin 1 Quote
heppnerguy Posted August 22, 2016 Report Posted August 22, 2016 Colorization, as I call it, really add a lot to a piece if it is done correctly as are these. I love the wonderful job you both did on these. some of the best colorization I have ever seen Dick heppnerguy Quote
