This is a big event in my part of NC. If you are near Littleton,NC stop by. The hours are 9:00 to 3:00. This show typically draws about a 1,000 shoppers. Wish me luck.

Good luck Scott but I think you will do good without luck.

Oh wow Scott, you have in fact been very, very, very busy lately!  All of that beautiful work on display!  I am in awe of all the talent and time put into all of that.  Display area looks awesome.  I hope that you do extremely well with the show today.  When you get time to breath - I would like to know about those initial items on the far left side in the second picture.  Looks like a box?  What do you see those intended for as far as use?  I wish I lived closer to your area, would love to have come over and seen all this impressive work in person.

Melanie, it is my own adaption of the following Steve Good project (http://www.stevedgood.com/giftcardholder.pdf ). Instead of a design, I put a letter on them. I further simplified it by putting the letter on only one side. They sell for $5.00 each and I sell 15-20 every show. In fact I sold out of a couple letters and need to get back in the shop next week.

Scott, good luck with your sale, you certainly have your bases covered on selection. If they can't see something they like or want, then they don't know what they like or want.

Very impressive display and beautiful items too. This must be show season. I cannot figure out how scrollers can produce so many items. Do you scroll for years until you have enough selection to have a show or do you scroll full time. Does anyone work full time? I'm just amazed!

I would not want to be in the same show as you Scott. You would be serious competition. Your work is very clean and precise. I love it that you use alot of hardwoods. I use nothing but hardwoods. You make quite afew of the same items I do. I would say a couple years ago anything military use to do real well for me, but now I have a hard time selling. Not sure why that is. Things do go in cycles though. Job well done and I am sure there are people that can realy appreciate what you do. Good luck with the rest of the shows.

Yes I am retired now but I do not spend my life in the shop. I would say most weeks I average 15 hours a week in the shop. More in the fall and winter months. I have some items in inventory for several years. It is amazing how items sit for several years and suddenly they sell.

Thanks for letting me know Scott.  Will check it out.  Steve has so many patterns he has shared that I could probably only work with his and never get them all done! Hope the show was good results for you.

Great set-up and really nice choice of pieces. I really like the black on the back side of the grid! Makes your work stand out more! Hope you sold a lot!

Tommy the black backing is nothing more than a couple cheap twin size flat bed sheets I got at Wal-mart. I attach them with spring clips.
