Got my wood stove going....

Snow showers. Areas of blowing snow between 10am and 3pm. High near 30. Blustery, with a northwest wind 18 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of around 4 inches.

I used to live near Charlotte,,,, anyway, no shop near the house, it's in the barn

The wind makes some places bare of snow and other places two feet deep

Snow day for wife and kid, and looks like the same for me. We got at least a foot of snow, but it is hard to tell with the drifting. I used my snow blower for the first time in two years!

 

Weird weather... Saturday I rode my bicycle for 40 miles in a t-shirt and shorts.

Low 70s here in central Indiana Friday, then cold front moved in and wind stayed around 25mph all day with gusts, then rain and now we still have some wind, but the temp this morning was 26F.

Currently 43 and cloudy here with a high of 60.  Thunderstorms late tonight into tomorrow.  That means hubby will probably be home tomorrow to help (interfere) with some of the deep cleaning in preparation for Thursday.  At least it's rain coming and not snow, that's a plus.

I usually don't go into the Coffee House but I was sitting outside, on my visit to our spn's house and saw this post so I thought it would be interesting to post things from here in Phoenix We hash rain last night but I missed it. I went into the house at 11 pm and when I got up this morning it was sunny once more. So I just took the photo here and thought," this is perfect, outdoor scrolling temperature". Enjoying this nice 2 week break

Hope you strung up a clothes line between the shop and the house. We do that here when it's going to blow and snow real bad so we don't get lost between the house and the barn. No fun when you can't see your destination when you leave, and it's only 100 yards away.

No Snow or Rain here in East TN but has been colder this weekend.  Was only around the mid-40's yesterday, 20's at night last night and tonight.  Still have lots of wild fires burning out of control but starting to get a handle on a few. The air quality alert went down to yellow today, probably due to the colder weather in part.  Not suppose to get beyond upper 50's/low 60's the rest of the week.   Been to the grocery store and costco to get the fixings (or some of them) for Thanksgiving Dinner.  I am sure there will be another trip or two before Thursday!     My son got here from college on Friday night as they have all of this week off.  My daughter will be home tomorrow night so housework has also been calling.  Hope everyone stays safe and warm out of the snow - if anyone has any connections, or too much rain - please send it our way!  Have a great week.
