Scrappile
Well this is the first one I have seen posted on the Craigslists I look at. Anyone on the west side of Washington? https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/tld/6035296110.html I also spotted this in Idaho's Craigslist. Ought to make Gator feel good, or maybe he would not sell his for that price. I e-mail and told the poster I couldn't buy it, but as a scroller I thought it was an awful good job. Got an e-mail back in short order. It was the daughter. said her parents were down sizing and had to sell stuff. Her 83 year old father made it. I don't know if he was 83 when he did it. https://eastidaho.craigslist.org/art/6039980828.html Edited March 13, 2017 by Scrappile Scrolling Steve and lawson56

bandaideman
I have attempted the chess Checker set but never could get the drawers on either side fixed to work. the squares were not square enough for me so after I got the to done I desided to cut squares of Maple and rosewood and glued on top of the ones shown in Pic. I then just put fixed oak on the ends and a little decoration. That was years ago and I may try again some day now that I am more experienced. My opinion this is done well and the amount of work required in it is worth the price if anyone has need of one.

JTTHECLOCKMAN
I have that chess set pattern and have had it for many years but never got around to cutting. After seeing this I may just break those patterns out again and have a go at it. Nice price on it. I have a clock pattern or two that I think I will also bring back to life. I may just have to step up the scrolling once again. Edited March 15, 2017 by JTTHECLOCKMAN
