dgman Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Jerry, I must say I don't find his videos funny at all. Especially the first one with the table saw, that just plain stupidity! Quote
New Guy Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Enjoyed both videos. Big fan of the show. Good find. Quote

MTCowpoke22 Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 They're supposed to be stupid, guys! Loved watching his show when it was on! Quote
Bill WIlson Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Yea, Red Green humor is sort of an acquired taste. It's a parody of outdoor & DIY type shows. The humor is mostly slapstick, puns, sight gags, simple but clean. Don't take it seriously. "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." MTCowpoke22 1 Quote
newfie Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) Great show use to watch them all the time don't get the reruns of it the show itself is stupid as heck.they we're not tring to mock anyone or anything. If you ever watched the show you know duct tape is the hand man's favorite tool and if the women don't find you handsome at least they can find you handy LOL Edited March 22, 2017 by newfie Quote
newfie Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Imagine a Canadian version of "Home Improvement," add Canadian-born comedian Steve Smith and call him by his not-so-handyman alias, Red Green, and you have this series, a sitcom-sketch comedy hybrid. It is set in the fictional town of Possum Lake, Canada, and follows the mishaps of Red, the leader of the Possum Lodge men's club, and his nephew, Harold, in their plight to be good handymen. Other regulars on the show include cheapskate Dalton Humphrey, one of Red's best friends, and local forest ranger Ranger Gord. Quote
Phantom Scroller Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 This is my kind of a guy . Very funny. Roly Quote
Bill WIlson Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 Any red-blooded, dirt under the fingernails, "I can fix that", males of the species, who aren't familiar with Red Green, really owe it to them selves to take some time and watch some videos. It really is good, clean fun. Quote
Jim McDonald Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 And there goes my vacation plans. . It is set in the fictional town of Possum Lake, Canada, Quote
Dan Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 What? Fictional?! You mean there's no Moose Thompson or Stinky Peterson either? I'm on episode 104 of 161 so I still have plenty more to watch. Quote
Gonzo Posted March 25, 2017 Report Posted March 25, 2017 Love the show. When my daughter was younger ( 6 or 7 years old) we'd watch it together. She would just laugh and laugh. Makes me smile just thinking about it. Thanks!!! Quote
AK Moose Nugget Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 Loved Red from the first episode I ever watched. Some are better than others, but such is life....some days you can cut those tight squiggly lines, some days better off vacuuming up sawdust and looking thru patterns. Quote
savethebeer Posted April 3, 2017 Report Posted April 3, 2017 1st time to see this guy and loved his humour. I know the wood cutting was set up but it was slightly spoiled by his apparent lack of safety around that saw. I wouldn't mind being around after shooting stopped, there was lots of wood thrown in the corner. Quote
Bill WIlson Posted April 4, 2017 Report Posted April 4, 2017 If you watch much Red Green, you soon come to realize that his apparent lack of safety around all things is pretty much the centerpiece of the humor in his show. Quote
