Wonderful news indeed Ike.  I pray that she continues to do well.  Glad you can go out to the shop.  if you really want to keep tabs on her, you could always get a baby type monitor - they have camera ones now.  We used something similar when my mom was late stages Alzheimers and she was at my house upstairs.  Worked very good.  You could use the old fashioned kind (noise only) so you could hear her if she needed you perhaps (although it would be hard to hear with the saw going perhaps.)

Ike, I'm happy for both of you, there's nothing worse then being in the hospital. There's little or nothing the patient can do, and there's little or nothing their visitors can do but sit there.

Guess you learned how to cook now.I'm sure breakfast in bed will be more than appreciated.Remember pampering goes along way for brownie points.No more home alone.You now know how much you loved her with her not being there for awhile. Kissin don't last cookin do ! Glad for you Ike!
