The inlay pattern came from Steve Good & the fretwork pattern on the underside of the lid is one of Sue Mey's. Silky oak is an Australian Hardwood & is of the Grevillea Family (Grevillea Robusta). I managed to get an old fireplace mantle piece & when I stripped the paint away this is what I found,a very pretty looking timber Quote
