My take on Pile of Bears

Since I have a lot of shop time do to the social isolation protocols and no real pressing projects, I have been experimenting in the shop.

I did the pile of bears but wanted to little bears to be proud of the bigger bears.  

I cut the little bears first and then put the board through the planner pattern side down. Just a little different.

Interesting idea!

I am going to try something like this but will not put through the planer as it is to short for me and risks a problem.  I can put it through a drum sander or add a shim to the bottom of it.
