So first of all I wish to thank Dave Monk for so generously sharing his pattern. I know my project does not stand up to the talents of Dave but I still want to post what I did so you all know I am not simply sitting in the sun and not at all in my shop. I did not see the older look to it, I just admired Dave Monk's project and pattern and made an effort to make one for my wife for valentine's day.
