I need to en large pattern larger. Yes, three programs that I know of. Rapid resizer. $39/year minimum subscription. Easy online, specifically targets scroll saw users . Big print. Fairly easy to use, very accurate printing, can be calibrated to the Pixel for a specific device. Ink saver mode. About $25 one time fee. I used this program to expand a 8 1/2" x 11" pattern to 7' yes foot long pattern. Can add grid lines for alignment. Inkscape. Free, very flexible but a higher learning curve than the others. Quote
kmmcrafts Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 Years ago I downloaded a free program to make any size pattern I need and it can be done by percentage or actual size.. You input the image and select boarder dimensions etc and then you can preview how the print will look and how many sheets of paper it'll take. When you download it does it in a PDF format to print out. I'd be lost without this tool because changing size is easy in inkscape but my printer doesn't understand the size.. or maybe I don't understand how to print larger sizes with my printer.. either way this program sections it out on whatever paper size you put into the input... I'd be lost without it. Don't know for sure if the program is still out there but look for PosteRazor. It might be a bit confusing to understand the set up of the software to your needs but once you get that all set to your paper size and boarder size etc it's really simple to do. May be a easier and better program now days.. I've had this since around 2006 or so... Quote
Jim McDonald Posted October 3, 2024 Report Posted October 3, 2024 If it is saved as a PDF format, you should be able to adjust the percentages in the print dialog box. You may have to select "Poster" as the print style. (Don't forget to reset the dialog to normal when you close. Don't ask-just don't) Fab4, Dan, kenr and 1 other 2 2 Quote
JimNC Posted October 3, 2024 Report Posted October 3, 2024 I have used Rapid Resizer for stained glass and woodworking patterns for many years and am very happy with it. Mike Crosa 1 Quote
